  1. I like those torq thrusts... Im interested in the rims off an srt8 cherokee which are 20's and have a +34 offset, the kicker is that I would have to go with 4 front rims since the rears are 20x10 with I believe a +50 offset and fronts are 20x9...so you should be in good shape with the 9" rim
  2. Looks great! I will definitely consider this mod in the future
  3. What is the best timing belt available for the 3.5 v6? Does anyone manufacture a timing chain retrofit?
  4. +1 post some pics im curious to see how they look. I may consider doing this in the future
  5. how did it turn out? also would the dealer undercoat a 2yr old vehicle or is it strictly for new ones?
  6. http://www.hypertech.com/products-results.aspx Found this...seems pretty sweet...I wonder how the max energy one works. 7hp 11lbft gains on regular while increasing mpg!
  7. I did some research and using 4 front wheels (and the replicas are sold like that on ebay) off the SRT8 would work as they are 20x9 not 20x10 the fronts also have a +34offset compared to a +50. So 245's will fit without a problem? Also, how does the hub size of the srt8 rim fit on the journey's hub?
  8. thanks for the welcome! yea I dont have the Journey yet but I have been thinking up mods already haha like weather tech mats, black jeep cherokee srt8 rims and maybe crossfire srt6 badges. these are just ideas
  9. I wonder if the cilajet will work just as well on the undercarriage? I probably wont consider the krown method even though it sounds like a very nice product...I want something permanent that does not require yearly reapplications
  10. wow that cilajet is very interesting! did they do the underside of your journey as well?
  11. which im fine with...im ocd when it comes to keeping my car spotless haha
  12. i wonder if ziebart with the "hard" coating as opposed to the Krown method is better, more permanent cost effective option for over time, because you can always touch up a chipped area of the Ziebarted coating.
  13. ok so this krown is just a thin coat type spray compared to ziebart? With the krown, do you pay a one time price or is it a yearly cost? My uncle also used an electrical shock type of undercoating I'll have to ask him about the details on that...I wonder how that works out in the elements since he keeps his car garaged and it rarely sees salt
  14. man do those wheels look awesome! Any fitment issues, rubbing, spacers used etc? Found some black srt 8 rims on ebay and thought those would look killer on a silver journey B)
  15. Hey I'm still in the market but more than likely Im going to purchase a Journey SXT this summer and the first thing I want to do it protect it. Any of you guys have had undercoating done? What are the best products/places to get this done? I know Ziebart does undercoating as well as the dealer. Im just curious to see what is best product/value is out there. Once the undercoating is done I plan to get some Weathertech floor liners and from what I have read so far on this forum people seem to like them. After the protection is done then its time for the mods haha
  16. yes definitely post pics! im curious to see what it will look like after the drop.
  17. Hey I currently do not own a Journey but I have the chance to buy a vehicle (Silver SXT hence my username haha) this summer through my dad's company. Right now I drive a 2003 Ford Taurus with 170k and I'm looking for something newer and rust free! My Taurus looks good on the outside but the undercarriage is pretty darn rusty and beyond full repair. I wanted to join to get some more info and mod ideas.
