Well didn't need to buy a smoked hood deflector and paint it. Shop in my small town found one made by Stampede and installed it today. Already had people taking pictures of it before it left the shop.
Funny thing is.....I sent Stampede a e-mail asking them about the part number for the Journey with the (-8) added to the end for the CHROME selection , and customer support replied back and told me Chrome was not avaliable for the Dodge Journey.
Well there wrong, unless this one was special order, Because it was not cheap.
Anyway here the part number 2260-8 sticker under deflector states 2009-2011 Journey, But my is a 2012 ...So the hoods never did change from 09-12.

Well here are the pics some of you have been waiting to see. Notice the 4 pin trailer plug harness just hanging through the round hole made for the 7-pin plug........Not very happy with that part of the factory install. Go out and buy a Chev,Ford ,or even Dodge truck for that matter when you order a Trailer "TOW PREP PACKAGE" you are ready to tow!!!, except for the reciever and size ball........Which is normal........Don't really remember what the bumper looked like before the install, But can see where they did put the clip on moulding where the cut was made............I still happy I got the factory one instead of the aftermarket one, ........Now I need a adapter for my Bike rack unless I want it sticking out sidways instead of up........LOL...........Caper.

When you buy a full size pick-up/SUV...Do the sales -person tell you it cost $150.00 to fill up at the gas station also?
When you buy a Mini-cooper Does the salesmen tell you there no room for your Great dane?
People just need to do there homework first........
