  1. These tires are now available at www.tires-easy.com and cost $177 each plus, plus & plus. It will cost a wee bit to retire but the treadlife is 60,000 Miles. I would think that as time goes by more and more manufacture's will offer this size of tire like Michelin. I Hope!
  2. Hi Steven, I ordered the towing package as well. It is called the TRAILER TOW PREP and includes 4-pin connector wiring and engine cooler. There is no mention of a hitch. Before I bought my Journey I asked for them to throw in the hitch which they agreed to except it will be an after market hitch such as Reese or Hidden or similar. The wiring will be hooked up with a 4-Pin connector. It would seem that Chrysler does not have a hitch available for this vehicle yet although you can buy a receiver. Don't figure! Good Luck with getting yours hooked up. Bye the way it seems the max towing weight for this vehicle is 3500 lbs although Chrysler only recommends 2000 lbs. Keith
  3. I ordered the Save and Sound option with my Journey which includes the back-up camera. Sometime I may want to see behind without going into reverse. Does anyone know of a mod that may be available to enable this function? I'm sure some techs have done this on other camera equiped vehicles. Thanks!
  4. The Journey SXT AWD & R/T come equiped with 225/55R 19 Kumho Solus KH16 Tires. I asked my dealer about a warranty for the tires but it is not available. I asked about tire availability but could not get an answer except that Chrysler has to stock spare parts for the vehicle. They told me that by the time my vehicle arrives in about a month he would have an answer! Just for the hech of it I googled Kumho web sites and was unable to to find a tire of that size for sale. I guess I"m a little worried because on a previous new vehicle I had a tire go bad within the first month. I had to buy a new one but at least the size was available. Anyone have any additional information on these tires, and warranties, etc? Thanks
  5. congrats snow runner, Here,s the way I see it. If you order flex seating (for 7) you will get 3 zone ac manual control. If you order regular seating (for 5) with the premium convenience group you get 2 zone ac with ATC. Keith
  6. Ottawa, Ontario in the Great White North with still lots of snow. Looking to trade places with Jack! Keith
  7. I live in Ottawa, Canada and my new Journey SXT AWD is on order. It was ordered two weeks ago and I was told it would take 8 weeks so I,m looking at about the 4th of May. It is 5 seats with convienance group 1 & 2, Safe & Sound, Crome wheel Pkg and Towing Package and the dealer is throwing in a hitch. I also bought the undercoating. I test drove the 3.5L with six speed transmission and it was fantastic. Best brakes I ever used. My Caliber is only a year old but I had to have the Journey. Gas Miliage is not as good but it is respectable for this size of vehicle. My wife and I are friends again now! Keith
