  1. How do I identify which transmission I have? I have the 3.5 V-6 engine. I am having the no start issues also. Sometimes after starting I cannot get the shift lever out of park, I shut the vehicle off, restart, works every time, I want to change the NSS/Range Sensor, just not sure which Transmission I have. Thankyou in advance!
  2. I have a set of Dale Earnhart Jr Edition Chrome wheels made by American Racing and the dust is horrible. I don't think differant style wheels make a differance.

Thanks MJM48, I took delivery of my Journey on Aug 18 and have had the noise from day 1, the reason I never took it in was Dodge ext warranty people could never get my paperwork straightened out till Nov 11, WOW! and I need a car which you don't get unless you have the ext. warr. Thanks again to Dodge Customer No Service. They replaced my reservoir and so far it is good, they also heard a popping sound in the front end which I thought was part of the problem but they found my axle nuts were loose, retorqued them. Thanks again
  4. Chrysler bought my Liberty CRD back and they reclocked the Max Car 100,000/4yr back to 0 miles /0days, it all starts over. never bought one before but after the Liberty, yea you need one, unless you can aford $35,000 in repairs, oh, and $7000 just in rent cars.
  5. Canada Jay, I live in Illinois and I don't know about Canada, but good luck. I just went through a buy back of my Liberty CRD, what a misserable experience, they made me feel like it was my fault that they can't fix my car. They wait you out hoping you will sell it or trade it, after they said they were buying it back it was another 3 mo waiting! (June 1 - Aug 20) and I had to get a car off the lot in their inventory, no dealer trades for a car you want, you won't find another dealer to help you because it ties there money up, you get no perks, rebates, $2.99 gas, they didn't even fill the gas tank which is included on the window sticker. They told me to pick out a car, I talked to a salesman, boy he's all out to help you until you say it is a buyback, then he told me I not going to make nothing on this deal, when I went back to the dealer he would not even speak to me or my wife. I'll remember that the next time I want a car. Car dealers are all the same, they are all SCUM BAGS! All of them. They treat you like dirt, you think they would help you so you'll come back, they don't care. Good Luck you will need it, dealing with them. I hope they all get treated every day like they treated me.
  6. I purchased mine from etrailer.com I have purchased several from them, good service, they sell several brands. Going to install mine tommorrow.
  7. I have a 06 Diesel Liberty, really liked the vehicle but they really have bad issues. Should get my Journey today and I hope I never see a check engine light again, if I do, I will trade it in on a non DC product immediatly. I have been treated so bad, lied to, had 2 recalls (of the many done) said they did them and the work was not performed, was told by the dealer "do not bring that vehicle back to this dealership". One time the dealer asked me what type of -GAS- I was using, I said it is a Diesel, what, thats a Diesel, they drained the Diesel and put gas in it and it would not start, unbeilivable, I could go on and on, oh 180 days in the shop too. Wish me luck, if this Journey has 1 problem I'm done with DC.

    Hello to everyone! Chrysler is buying my Diesel Liberty back and now getting a Journey. Looking forward to having a vehicle to drive. They have had my Liberty in the shop for @180 days and they treat me like a second class citizen.
