I added some picture in the gallery (the first blue bar at the top for those who don't see it there) to show the hooks in one but others do not have. I'll dig a little deeper but maybe the SE only has them??????
even more digging the SE does not have them but the SXT and R/T in both FWD and AWD have them. code is (XGG), strange

I ordered the R/T with FWD. Almost got AWD but I live in Phoenix, Az. and never go offroad. I got this just to commute to work. I got the 3 row -- manily for the back air cond. since I live in the hottest place during the summer.
Here's what I got:
Conv. grp 2
Entertainment grp. 2
Flex seating grp.
rear seat video
All of these groups together make it so I get the upgraded stereo, navigational, all the works etc...
I already can't wait to get this thing.
My wife is looking forward to it as well.
I am replacing a 92' Ford Explorer.
Great, another member with the navigation ordered, I think that makes 3 of us so far Kconnors, Yourself and me. Did you download any of the manuals yet? There is one for the Journey and one for the Navigation/radio system The radio model is REU, exclusive to the Journey

I orederd my new Journey on Friday Thursday April 24th. They tell me it should be here in 6-8 weeks. I am hoping it comes in faster than that because I would love to have it for my Trip starting June 1st.
Welcome to the site 5555. 6-8 weeks waiting??? I think maybe a little sooner than that. Tell us what you ordered with all the options. Been waiting long enough for ours But the Nav system set us back. Had a ship date as April 23rd "HOPEFULLY" here before the wife's Birthday on the 15th of May. The wait will start to make you go insane, just read some of the posts from other members

I have a pile of pictures with the 3rd row seating and some have the grocerybag hooks and some don't is there any rhyme or reason for the differences???? I can't seem to find anything that works

Is it wierd that I've read this thing cover to cover, twice, and I don't even own a Journey? LOL

NOTE:
² To help control wind noise when installing the cross
rails, make sure the arrows marked on the underside
of the cross rails face the front of the vehicle.
² To help reduce the amount of wind noise when the
cross rails are not in use, fasten the front cross rail in
the fourth position from the front and the rear cross
rail in the eighth position.
here it is

I test drove a couple of Journey's and experienced a helicopter like sound when the back windows were opened.
It was killer on the ears! Now that I downloaded the manual, they actually have a section on it called "wind buffeting". Interesting, just have to break the wind pattern by opening another window (which we already knew). We actually thought it was the roof rack that was causing the problem
And, I just figured out why we couldn't put in a CD. I guess it was a 6 disc changer and I didn't push the LOAD button then put the disc in. Sheesh!
Hey Brad, there is also a mention or where to place the roof racks to prevent wind vibration too. see if I can find it again
on a side note the sister in law has a 99 grand caravan and her rack vibrates too in the wind.

Hey All,
I am Roby from N. St. Aug, FL. My wife ordered this Bad boy back at the end of January and I am so glad her company added it to the line up. I already got the windows tinted and will probably order a bug deflector for it to keep it looking nice. We normally keep these cars for 2.5-3 years. She is in Medical Sales and I am a Tobacco Sales & Marketing Rep (no I don't smoke). We just turned in an 06 Town & Country Touring LWB w/ the 3.8L V6. I do miss the power doors. Is power lift gate an option on these?
I am also looking to buy a rear retractable cargo cover (light gray) if anyone has one they won't be using.
The power lift gate is not available at all but I think with the next few year models it just may.
Also the retractable cover should come with the Journey if it is the 5 seater. The 7 seater the inside rear quarter panel trim panels are differnt and will not work.
Welcome to the site, Cool name as well B)

Pam saw one, took one look, sat in it, drove it and said this was her new car.
Yes sir, same here. We went to look at the Town & Country's and laid out the deposit right away after looking at the Journey
Rob
Also welcome to the site, lots of friendly people here

I work for CN & could not track the car # my RT was on and I think mine was offloaded in Detroit then trucked from there
If its going to Edmonton then it would have to be CP or CN once it comes into canada as I dont think shortlines are out there
Picked mine up yesterday
Thanks larryl for some info, also congrates on getting yours yesterday.
Went to my Dealer to see the salesmanager today and it was like he had no time for me and after waiting 45 minutes for him, I left Mr Hit-By-Thunder did not have a good day today and this just seems to be the icing on the cake. So I have no idea how the Journey is sitting right now. weather it is built/shipped, NOTHING!!!!!!!!! I stopped in Monday and he said to check back Wednesday, did that and the order was no change and to check back Friday did that after work and he would not even acknowledge me being there. So friggin frustated right now

But where does this -2800 come from?
I don't know either???? I agree 100% everyone knows it as build and price, so why change it.
ah well the pricing is the same. just harded to find out EXACTLY what it is.
Rob
-
Ya it's there but not as "Build and Price"
Click on the model you want "available models" the is a tag on one of them saying "most popular" and the base price comes up and as you add options, the price rises. I think the other way was better and easier.
I repriced my Journey out and it comes out as 30,940 Net Finacnced amount???? but add the 1300 destination and the fee on the fee fee and A/C tax
Rob
AHHHHHHHH click on price details and they already deduct the down payment -2800
-
New website at dodge.ca, no more build and price or am I blind?

here is the yard where the Journey will arrive In Edmonton, my dealer ship is south east from there about 2 minutes
53.57485,-113.327837 enter these coordinates in on Goggle maps and switch to satelite. Now does anyone (Canadian) know how to track once it starts getting shipped by rail? I think maybe Union Pacific may be the railline?????

Today the warning message came across telling me that I need an oil change. The odd thing is, I only have 2400 miles on my Journey - most of which is HIGHWAY mileage. I'm very surprised to need an oil change already...has anyone experienced something similar?
I think it is because it is the break in period. I did read something about it in the online owners manual.

My Wife's Company car came in Monday. Its an 09 SXT AWD that her company let her order since she is a Senior Sales Rep. It is the Silver Steel Metallic. The Car is simply AWESOME. In 10 years it is the BEST compnay car she has ever recieved but the only dissapointment is that there is no 3rd Row seat. We thought all SXT's had it but her company's fleet department removed the 3rd row to save $$$. Well at least the Gas is still free whenever we drive it. As for Mod's I will try to contain myself but I already tinted the front 2 windows 20% to match the factory glass. Look for Pix tonight or tomorrow.
Cheers!!
Roby
WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO
pictures pictures pictures
oh sorry 'bout that congratulations on the Journey Car will look great with the dark grey (I call it and the tinted front windows.
As for the 3rd seats not being there. Just teather the kids to the cargo hold points with some cargo straps and to keep them safe put some bike helmets on them <insert CYA (cover your azz) Just having some fun/humor not meant to insult at all>

Has anyone experienced alot of shifting from 6th to 5th and back again on the highway? With is a AWD R/T and this happens on relatively flat roads and with the cruise on or off. I put it in autostick normally to stop this behavior but of course the wife doesn't. So before I put a service call in I wanted to see what the masses thought.
hmmmmmmmmmm we don't have ours yet but I don't like the shifting from 5-6-5-6-5-6 etc, Constant hunting = Too much heat =Hot Tranny=Early failure
I'll be watching this thread for sure. Thanks Tool6996
-
Hey Paul, the 99's and the 01's had the 4R100 tranny great tranny for stock, but not built for the extra torque from a chipped 7.3 PSD. I think it was in late 03 when the first Torqueshift was put into production with the 1st generation 6.0 Power Stroke Diesel
either way I am sure the dealer will be looking after it
Rob

Tool6996, can you post a picture of the moldings so we know exactly what you are meaning. I can't get into the dodge accessory site for some reason
Thanks

Rob, I checked on the Nav company web site, and they show a "new" release for the maps and POI's, however they didn't show a release date for the software.
The update has a price of $200.00, and when I get mine, I will be checking the revision number in the vehicle to make sure it shipped with the latest.
Too bad they couldn't include all the Timmies locations as well!!
I will look into more of that and post later.
Rick.
You Sir are the Super Sluth WTG!!!!! Do you know the version now and the version update
I would think that the dealer would be able to update the software with the starscan tool
