Metering those Sockets are quite painful, holding the socket and the meter leads like a chopsitck. i found it easier to just swap the left and right bulb.

O, they just had a Recall on this issue, because the Hose Material is wrong. But the problem is, The Hose is in Back order. So, you are screwed, for now. :P

PSX24W is a Chrysler part number, but the Standard number for aftermarket bulb is H16, or 9009. Unfortunately, Stores like Pepboys and Autozone hardly carry those either. They works on a Charger. But if you are looking for replacement bulb online, go with those number. I usually order my light bulbs from http://autolumination.com They have Almost every bulb type, color, LED conversion in the world. However, sometimes u will find the shipping cost more than the bulb. But if you intend to do LED or change ur fog Color to Purple, Pink, yellow, etc... This is a very reliable site. If you plan to do HID conversion, http://www.ddmtuning.com/ But Dodge Vehicle needs Relay and some electrical modification, or a Error code eliminator kit from the Site above. for HID, Only use 35watt kits, do NOT use 55watt. Yes, i know $45 for a bulb is just a rip off. Personally, i've used H16 HID kit on a Charger, works great. HOWEVER, i've read some complaint about the Connector for 9009/H16 bulb is loose on dodge Vehicle, I donno if they did it wrong, or what. Where is it from? outside of the car or inside? do you think you can pin point the area? how loud is it? is it the click of the Turn Signal stalk?

Ask if the Dealership find any Diagnostic Trouble code stored in any of the computer. and did they updated ALL of the computer to the latest software? How long does this effect last? have you tried to shut off the car and restart it? Did you went to the dealership for this complaint b4 the waranty expire? (36k miles). Because if you have it on record, by the time the cluster just dies, you can call Chrysler and ask them to waranty it. Ur symptom usually occurs when the Cluster loses BUS signal (Communication), it could be wiring. There is a Case file where a tech found a Pinched wire on the Left Sun Visor Mounting screw, might want to give that a look. or else wiring problem can happen anywhere in the car. There is nothing your Mechanic can do if everything works OK when he is in the car. or You might need a new cluster, the Cluster controls all the Wiper and steering column. But the problem is the Cluster is so expensive, and this is just a guess.

You got a pretty good deal. even if someone tell you it could be better, it would probably only be like 2 or 3 hundred dollar difference. I donno much about sales in Canada, But in US, if you can Walk out of the door below MSRP, it is a decent deal. on ur part, the dealership probably only made like $300-400ish profit off your sale, and maybe $700ish off the extended waranty. I work in Dealer service dept, on top of the Powertrain waranty, 5yr/100K ownership will not cost you more than $1000 repair, especially when u got a Base model. Unless you got a Fully loaded vehicle with Navigation, Moonroof, leather heated seat, etc... Bumper to Bumper extended waranty are tend to be a waste of money.

There was a newly released TSB about the incorrect shimming in the final drive gear. When you get one of these trans, it usually fails in less than 20k km. When it is fixed, you should be problem free. The Journey will be fine with drive train problem. just don't mix and match tires when you have a AWD model.

Are you under waranty? if you are, take it in. do you have Manual or Auto climate control? Those bulbs does NOT have part number, they are soldered onto the Circuit board. if you are going to replace the whole control, i think they are like $150 list price from the dealership. The Center bezel can be removed by a trim stick, or just yank it out by hand, they are just held on by clips. I've taken it apart and soldered new bulbs onto the circuit board, and it works. So if you got some practice on fixing circuit boards in TV or VCR players, go for it. if you want to know what type of bulbs i used, i have no idea. I just took few same size bulb from the bulbs bin in my dealership.

All of these TPMS are made by Shrader, an Irish company that supplies TPMS pretty much for everyone. Nissan, Ford, GM, chrysler, VW, etc... Once in a while, i see some made by Mitsubishi, probably to pick up the slack, because these sensor are breaking faster than shrader can make them. Chrysler doesn't design them, but i bet they are sick of paying for the waranty too. It doesn't matter if you drive a Chrysler, or Toyota, they all get corodded and break. Quick Lube place don't want to touch it simply because if it breaks, they do NOT have any equipment to service tires. It is easier for them to just not take the chance. While in a Tire shop, they can at least take it out and replace it with a Rubber Valve Stem, and send you down the road. What can you do to help prevent this from happening is Never use metal/chrome valve stem caps!!! Only use plastic caps, and leave them loose. when the valve stem cap goes missing, replace it immediately. So keep a few in ur glove box. you can get a pack for like $2 everywhere. If the cap does Seize onto the valve stem, do not go for a plier. You will have to get a grinder and split the cap in halve, very carefully. But of course, over years of beating by harsh weather, they will eventually give up, just like anything else. As for the Newer car, Shrader finally decided to use a Rubber valve stem that can be separated from the TPMS, so ppl don't have to pay $100 every time it fails. All these Gadgets and Options on car, they Nickel and dime you in the long run. I alrdy seen a lot of ppl just give up on the TPMS thing, live with the light, and just put 4 rubber valve stem in, which we have been doing for the last 100 yrs.

Go slower next time, these shifter are more fragile than you think, you might end up breaking it. <_< I have a few customer broke the piece of plastic that attach the lever to the cable, because the pull on it too hard or too fast.

The 3rd row seat on the Kia Rondo is a lot closer to the lift gate and sacrifice trunk space, no? it is good to have some space between the rear passenger and the lift gate. one of ur wheel speed sensor is glitching out. On most vehicle, it is because the Tone ring on one of the axle broke off, causing the Wheel speed sensor to pick up bad signal. Inspect the tone ring on the axle, see if an damaged tooth are spoted. However, i believe you can NOT see the teeth on the rear tone ring on Journey. If you find a broking tone ring, you will need an axle and a sensor. which is pretty expensive. If that does happen, advise on Aftermarket axle is waste of time and money. Get a Re-Man OEM one or new one. If all you need is a sensor, then it would be cheaper. If you can't find anything with simple observation, you will need some real diagnostic equipment that can see which sensor is sending the false signal while the ABS/Trac kicks in, and go from there. Journey are fairly new vehicle, not a lot of shop would even have up-to-date equipment for it. your best bet is dealership. Either way, expect few hundred dollar repair bill on this one if you are going to the dealership. Can you just turn off the Traction control? so at least you can drive for now? Do you have All Wheel Drive? I hope you don't Mismatching tires will tear apart you Power Transfer Unit.

The WIN module do a lot of things. It is an electronic device that wraps around the Ignition Cylin. It tells the PCM the Key position,if the right key is inserted, and it has solenoid that release the Key when you put the car in park. It also does a lot of other things like Picking up tire pressure sensor signal and remote keyless entry, etc... Give your dealership a call. There is a STAR tech tip on what you are experiencing, if they look it up, they probably will just fix it. If they give you hard time about it, just act all upset with your car, and threaten to trade it in and never buy a Dodge product again. <_<

the car clearly in park, which means the Gauge Cluster reads "Park", right? If that is the case, you need a WIN module. (on the ignition cyln.) I hope you are still underwaranty. -Good luck.

what was wrong with the Napa rotors? were they warp? rotted out? crack? and what happen to your factory rotors?

Yeah, this tire issue sux. If a Customer is looking for new set of tires, we may sell them different size tire and reprogram the computer. But sometimes when 1 tire blows up and a customer needs an exact match, we Had to take a tire off a brand new car and wait like 3 days to 1 week for the ordered tire. Journey tires, Tire pressure sensor, and Key fob has always been on back order status for us. Believe me, they know about this issue, they just don't have the resources and supplier to fix it.

How much are you expecting to spend? How long do you usually keep your car? do you need 7 seat? The New Durango is coming out, and base on the Grand cherokee with extended wheel base. And i am sure the Durango/Cherokee will be a LOT better vehicle in the long run. even tho they are more expensive. The Honda CR-V are proven to be reliable vehicle, I would recommed you to take a test drive, and see if you like it. The Toyota Rav4 isn't bad either. Tho i didn't like their cheap interior feel. and Imports like Honda and Toyota are quite generous when it comes to repair and maintainence too. The Ford Edge and Nissan Murano are a lot more expensive than journey, they are not in the same League. Regarding the Nissan Murano, i think this car will give you some great driving experience. But when it start to have problem when you are out of waranty, you will wish you never bought the car. The newer Nissan product design and very close to German cars. I just got to drove and work on a Nissan Rogue in the shop, my first reaction is "what a Piece of shit this car is in every aspect". I know you alrdy said No Minivan. But if you want a family car. The Dodge Minivan is the top pick. My view on buying a Journey is: Buy it only if you got a great deal on it. Good luck on your car shopping

We found Liscense plate frame, roof rack, antenna, wind deflectors, etc... in our dealer's Brush car wash all the time. I wonder where did they come from? <_< If you really care about your car, the best method is go wash it with Bucket and soap and water by hand yourself.

I have no idea, but my guess would be because they use a different transmission on the R/T model. So instead of messing with a new gear ratio, they decided to get a weird sized tire instead. There are a lot of tires outperforms the OEM tires from chrysler, i never liked the Kumho brand line up, they don't last too long, They used 19" Michelin tires on the Chrysler Pacifica. probably the best brand in the world. But the price is like $260+ each.

If you are too concern about the Speedo accruacy, you can go to the dealer and have them reprogram the tire size. These are Customer preference option, they usually do it for free on the first 3 months you bought ur car. The 19" tires are freaking expensive and only manufacturer that make that size is Kumho and Hankook. and they only last like 40km. You do not want those on your car unless u are willing to deal with it.

For HID, just go Ebay or any brand. they almost as cheap as a head light bulb nowaday. Unless u get a bad one out of the box, they usually last. Brands like Valeo, Hella, Denso, Siemen, Digital, they are OEM supplier, they have pretty good reputation, but more expensive. and they are rated at 3000 hr of operation. As for the Relay part, I believe the relay is intergrated to the TIPM module, or on top of it. They will handle an 80watts bulb without problem. But the problem is, you are going to melt the Wiring harness. Saw that happen a lot. It is not recommended to go higher than 65 watts on the OEM set up.

need more information. The car's battery or the Key's battery? So u mean, u replaced the car battery, and now the key doesn't work? What about your 'other key'? If all your key says bad key, all you can do is sent it to the dealership and try to reprogram them, If that fails, you probably need a new Key or WIN module. I hope you are still under base waranty, those keys and expensive. When you turn the key on, does all the lights on the dash lights up? What instead of using the key, try to stick ur finger into the ignition cyln and turn it to key ON? now what does it say?

pay a little more and get the Mopar one. Using aftermarket gas cap is asking for 'Evap leak' CEL.

When you say nothing happens, u mean no dash light, chime, or starter click? Have you tried other keys? Think you might have a bad key.

The Minivan has the same brake as the Journey. Dodge extended the waranty on front brake pads and rotors for Minivan 'ONLY TO FIRST OWNER' for 3yr/36K miles. I wonder why they didn't do this for journey. brakes are only covered for 1yr/12k miles. after that, you are paying off ur own pocket.
