My torque converter in my 2018 dodge journey started to mess up around April 2025, I took it in to a local mechanic where I am from and they were able to diagnose it which it ended up being my torque converter,. They fix it June 27th, and last week on August 8th it started to mess up again, and i am not to sure why. Maybe my transmission is slipping, but I had also had them service my transmission prior to them fixing my torque converter and the mechanic stated that nothing was wrong with my transmission and everything looked good. I have also paid them over 1k to fix it along with parts and labor so I don't know if I should part with the vehicle or put more money into fixing it.
