  1. So I have a 2009 dodge journey sxt I am pretty sure the Engine is a 3.6 just got it replaced and my car is still overheating the radiator comes on when the car gets to the middle or half on the temperature gauge I also flushed it with a hose and water goes straight through and my heater core has been bypassed. When I look under the hood there is alot of pressure in the water reservoir and when I release it the temp gage goes back down so idk what's causing the pressure to build up.
  2. It could definitely be air as I don't know how to bleed my system but I did put 2 gallons of coolant in over the past few days and I had drained my coolant and flushed my system previously. Now I need more coolant since it overheated
  3. I have a 3.5 engine and today I was driving it and the hand never left C until it overheated and I had oil everywhere under the hood, there is no smoke leaving the exhaust and there was no smoke from under the hood until it overheated
  4. It overheats after about 30 minutes of driving, hot air isn't really hot, when I turn the car off it has a thumping sloshing sound in the dash
  5. Car overheated out of no where one day. Now I have changed the water pump, Thermostat a few times, flushed out Radiator, fan cuts on always has, no leaks, no bubbles in coolant reservoir, oil still looks like oil so I don't want to believe it's the head gasket any help!?!
