Hey I’m jacking the dj up currently, wish me luck ??

How would I do that and where would I put it

Sir you are the light at the end of the tunnel for this DJ because to be honest with you I was just gonna drive it till it blew but if what you say works I’m gonna definitely use that information and run with it

Would doing this affect the driving, the performance or anything else because if not I’m probably gonna do it tomorrow

Because growing up I used to work on OBS and Rams and all that and I’ve always been told if you take a transfer case off you a cannot drive it or we to It off because of the hole you’re gonna leave in it that oil could leak out so I don’t get how the vehicles gonna be fine without it and where are the mounts for it on the transmission because I can’t see them

Sorry if I’m asking too many questions but I truly do need these answers

So my transmission won’t fall apart I’m not understanding because it’s going to be a giant gaping hole in the side of it

How would a cap off the transmission that I know I can’t just leave a hole in it?

So I can drive around without a transfer case on the transmission?

I am all for leaving it 2 Wheel Dr. for the moment till I can get the money to get the part but I just need to know if it’s gonna do any long-term damage to it and if I pull the driveshaft could I just cap both ends of it and call it a day

As soon as it broke we pulled it into the driveway and it sat for the last two months and then I decided to start driving it again a couple pieces have broken off since I’ve started driving it again but it’s drives like there’s nothing wrong with it that’s what I’m not getting sometimes you know after a cold morning it’ll start up and you’ll hear clinking from the driveshaft but that’s pretty much it it still takes off and drives correctly
