I pieced together an air intake and primed and painted my original calipers.  The intake was pretty easy.   Items needed were the pipe, filter, coupler and hose clamp, and brass fitting for the small hose coming from the motor that was connected to the original air cleaner box.  I went with a 3.5” pipe, coupler and clamp.  Painting the calipers was easy.  Take the wheels off, put a couple coats of VHT caliper primer on, and then a couple coats of VHT black caliper paint on the calipers and anything else you want to spray while your down there.  Lol. I can honestly say, the caliper paint made a big difference visually.

So you bought the ebay kit while I fitted an actual dyno proven cold air intake. Lol. K&N intake on my 2018 crossroad 3.6L

I am unaware of anything that will legitimately increase performance.   Most people's knee jerk response is a cold air intake, but it already has one stock.  I don't think there are any tuning options either.  It has plenty of power already, imo.  A set of performance tires may be a good start...

    good luck

    Peace.

I got a cold air intake on my 2018 crossroad. Legit cold air Intake, not some bs ebay one. You just gotta know what to look for and what can crossover from another vehicle and then you just gotta make it work. 500miles and zero issues.

You won't find any. There is no aftermarket performance support for these vehicles. You can replace the mufflers with performance ones for better sound.

Um let's see, 2018 crossroad 3.6L and I have a "cold air intake" on mine. It's not made specific for the journey but I found one that works perfect, been on for nearly 500miles and no check engine lights. Slight improvement on mpg and big gain on throttle response, and the noise it make at 5k rpm is quite loud but I absolutely love it! Also chirps the tires going into 2nd gear at full throttle!!

  4. My wife and I have a 2018 crossroad with the 3.6L and here is a full intake kit. I've did a ton of searching and no one makes a intake kit for the journey with the 3.6L, however one company didnt realize they had one that would work. The heat shield just needs to be made taller and it would be perfect!! Noticed a substantial gain in throttle response and slight improvement on mpg in the city, if you take it easy that is. Oh and zero check engine lights after the install, it has been on for nearly 500miles now and no issues.
