In the stock "non upgraded" Journey are the tweeters also part of the door or are they mounted in the dash?

I was able to have mine turned on last Friday - I'm not exactly sure how they did it but I did inform them off adding the LMK code; and now they work! So there is a way still

Thanks everyone for all the info! I just bought a 14 Journey and before purchasing had read all this and asked the dealership directly about getting them working- which of course they had no clue. I ended up contacting them about the service code and apparently they have been able to add it. I am bringing it in Friday to get "re flashed" so I guess we will see if it works- sounds like as if recently that code was not available so I'm not sure how they got it added- guess we will see!

Hey everyone, I have been looking around the forums for a week or so as I recently purchased a 14 Dodge Journey! I have been reading up as up as I want to add a back up camera (I have the 8.4 screen). Now I know that there are several detailed posts about this which I have read but one answer I could not seem to find about it. So I apologize for bringing it up again! Anyway I see that it was stated that some journeys are pre-wired for the back up camera. How does someone know (without taking apart to look) wether it is pre wired? Was it certain years or certain models? Again sorry to bring up an old topic- I promise I tried looking for this answer but couldn't locate it! Thanks in advance and looking forward to doingvsome modifications to my Journey
