here's a question,do you still need a hood deflector if you got the 3m protection tape,i just bought a 2012RT and i'm wandering if the deflector would save on the tape?

how did you get your's and where? ,i've been lookin around and not sure where to get them,its kinda hard to load up the roof racks with out side rails

yah thats the one i put in and works great the only diferents is at the bottom you see where the square hole is!!,on ours its around snorkle hole

we got the dealer to install ours ,it works ok i guess .i don't think we need it,the misses i guess uses it

not to my knowlege,i had a 2008 3.5 ho rt avenger, and as long as it s the same motor it should line up nicely,the ownly difference is the snorkle,my 2010 journey rt awd has a circle at the bottom of it(the snorkle) and my 2008 rt awd avenger had a square at the bottom of it ,but easly it can be modded to fit i took pics but the format i'm useing says my pics are to big,can't figure it out! this is the only fourm i have had problems downloading pics

yah i tryed tinting tail lights ,didn't work,tryed the windows didn't work ,yah i think the pros can do it and to answer your question ,i got the k&n for the 3.5 avenger cai system,works great!

so i look at the stance of my journey and i think it sits to high what could someone do to lower it or is thier a kit that lowers it,any sugesstion?

k&n for the 3.5L avenger awd and i think it will get better the more my engine gets broken in,right now i'm sitting at 9200km .i know this becouse of my avenger had to be broken in too,and once that happens she'll be a quick lil bun wagon

so is that window tint your useing? some guys use paint! and the finnished look, you haven't posted pics yet,its lookin good so far

so i get my jurney back today! i was stuck with a traverse as a rental! good thing i have my 06highoutput dak just waiting to be used .the wife can use that othere thing lol!!!my dak is my baby and i don't use her much,the jurney is the every day driver :P

so i'm guessing that you bought it used,because yes it should have gotin crossbars if you had rails,ask your sales person they should know

did you put them on yourself?if so how ?meaning was thier break cleaner involved?

i had a 2008 avenger with the cai and loved the sound & the differece in power,sold it but kept the cold air intake and put it on the jurney,same motor and set up, everything lines up preffect except the snorkal,just a bit of modin and she was good to go she sound good &has more power,not munch but enough

so yah i took my jurney in and they have to redo the paint on the roof&hood,and every thing is under waranty,that sucks cuz the paint is never the same from the original!!!

anyway i just found grill inserts that actually have a piece that goes beside the fog lights and its all stainless steele,they look awsome,the grill inserts run about170+and thats for a 5pcs i'm going to check to see if that includes the fog light inserts?

thank's for the info ,sound like alot of prep work,what about chrome pieces for a color?you see the chrome spray bombs, how are they to work with?

so on the jurney they have that black UGLY peace that surounds the fog lights and ,i was wandering if a person could paint that the origanal color of the car? and if so what do you need for materials? what kind of paint?or better yet can someone do a photoshop on one to see what it would look like? :rolleyes:

so i guess all it was is that the wheel wells or the front drive shaft get snow packed in and freeze and you can't go very fast,or it will start to shake ,to solve this problem take it to a car wash and wash it out(wheel well) at least that's what the dealership told me!.all i did in sted of that is put it in some where warm!!and let it melt

mine just started to shake too ,the wife is going to take it in and get it check out and it's a 2010! and we just got it in november last month! .it's nice to have these fourms so you can see if any one else has had problems
