  1. Yeah, I've read about the Katzkins... However I can buy a set of seats for aprox $400 and Katzkins are at least twice as much... BTW: I've dig the e-bay and found some used OEM leather covers, does it mean you can take them of? So in case the electronics etc won't fit I can just "switch" the covers?
  2. There are a lot of wires on the right side. However I guess they are for the airbag?
  3. Yeah, Both of them have airbags. How about the electonic settings vs manual one? Is there just a cable that I should connect or its more complicated?
  4. Hi guys, I own DJ 2009 SE. i would like to replace seats with the leather ones from R/T. Is it just plug and play or there are specific sizes etc ? Those leather ones I've found are from 7ppl diesel 2009. The driver seat has electronic settings, mine is manual. Is it even possible?
  5. Neither you nor Dodge can reprogram the key to the new key fob. It's just the way it's made.
  6. Guys, my rear washer stoped working. 1) I can still hear the pump 2) The front is working just fine Any ideas what to look for?
  7. I have the manual and I've read it. I know that it cannot be done easy way, as I don't have the EVIC. What I'm asking for is some OBDII software, that could make it possible to set it up myself.
  8. I bought DJ one month ago. Before that it was used in Germany and I cannot tell if the previous owner had ever contacted Dodge dealer for recalls. So I want to FIAT and asked them to check if my DJ has some recalls - they said about two of them (one with the side doors wires, second one with ignition). Both done. It apears they've just changed the detent and WIN. As I believe recalls are 'forced' on dealers because of serious safety issues. So is it some kind dangerous to drive without the whole ignition being replaced? Funny thing about the FOBIKs - Both of my FOBs have the seperate battery compartment door… However they do not have PANIC button.
  9. I just have the recall done. They've replaced WIN and ignition switch. however they didn't replace my FOB's as they said it's not mandatory if they do not change the whole ingition just the "outside" of it. Should they replace them or not? Everything works fine with the two FOBs I have, so I just wonder if its worth fighting for (my FOBs are in perfect condition - I've just made new ones two weeks ago)
  10. Guys, what about the OBDII software that would work smoothly with DJ? I have OBD-USB cable, but what about the software?
  11. It looks like I have the "delay off". However it's set to 90sec. Is there a way to change it to 15 sec without EVIC?
  12. I had a same issue - all lights flashes, radio working etc but it does not start. Well in fact it does…. after fifth time or so. The solution was easier they I thought - starter solenoid relay - 10$. Hope it helps someone
  13. Hi Guys, I'm happy DJ owner for 2 weeks. However my 2009 SE has no EVIC, the question is: does it mean that I've all functions disabled for life or can I somehow change them (f.e. headlight off, horn when closing and so on) using OBDII connection? The funny thing is both my FOBs does not have panic button - so there is no way I can set "horn" with FOB (as stated in the manual).
  14. Thank you, it has to be reset after taking the head off. In case anybody need it - those values are correct.
  15. Guys, I Need urgent help with valve lash in 2.4 09' DJ. Cylinder head is ready, but my mechanic asked me what are the proper values of valve lash. He called both Dodge and Fiat and they do not want to tell it... Please help, so I can finally drive my baby home EDIT: What I've found is: Intake..................................................................................................................................................................................0.17 - 0.23 mm (0.006 - 0.009 in.) Exhaust...............................................................................................................................................................................0.27 - 0.33 mm (0.010 - 0.012 in.) Is it correct?
  16. I'd love to know that… The mechanic says that it may be associated with 'burned out' valve seat, somehow.
  17. Sorry guys for not posting the correct info. It's 2.4 liter gas 2009 - I've called the FIAT (in other city) and they've told me that it's a part of the cylinder head (aprox. 1000$). I've just found an used one out of Caliber 2.0 (400$).
  18. I'd love to, however there are no Dodge dealers in Poland, anymore…. They are "FIAT" right now and those idiots at FIAT told me, that they can only handle Journeys(Freemont) 2011 and younger.
  19. Hi, I'm urgently looking for a part that… I cannot even name. What is it and is it possible to buy it separately or does it come only with cylinder head or camshaft? Please see attached photos. (sorry for the size, I've no idea how to make them smaller) Thanks
  20. Guys, I've finally purchased my Journey 2009. Now i'm trying to upgrade it. One of the features I'd love to have is uConnect. The question is is it possible to install it in Journey SE ? I see there are a lot of uConnect MOPAR kits on ebay, but is it even possible? Thanks
  21. Thanks for response. The one I'm interested in is 2.0 CRD 'BWD' engine, which ASFAIK is not commonrail, but PI engine. Yours car is 2009, which should be CR. The question is - is the 2.0 BWD engine worth buying or should I wait for the 2.4 ?
