I have 2009 3.5L. Bought it one year ago. I noticed same thing on my oil dipstick on periodic checks. It eats some oil and I have no leaks either. I thought the same thing with the coolant. There is no change in the color of coolant at the overflow reservoir.

For all the first generation owners wanting that new front baja bumper bar on there 2009/2010. The 2011, 2012, 2013 lower front bumper (new style) seems dimensionaly the same for form fit and function.
I see nobody has done it on these forums. No postings found about this using the search bar.
The 2011,2012 "Crew" Chrysler part drawings show the bumper mounts are the same and the only diffrence was the lower front fascia over the first gen one. See pic.
The 2014 "Crossroad" Chrysler drawings on other hand show different looking bumper mounts so the fittment might not be a direct drop replacement although the entire front fascia is the same and would fit with some tweaking from behind the curtain. See pic.

I have been reverse engineering in my head and it seems to me the new style lower front bumper & upper grille can be installed on the 2009/2010 models. Even though I don't have burnt orange paint job (most beautiful ) I can still have the new style fascia like dhh3. Turn my 2009 into a 2013,2014,2015 with a front bumper change only.

I put key fob and keys in the ruler pocket of my jeans. The fob has now been cleaned 2x in the washer with Arm and Hammer detergent and Downey softener. Still works fine! I need to stop doing this!
Wow dhh3! Things go well for you. Both of mine are cracked and exposed. My daughter threw one of the two FOB's on the macadum this weekend and it busted into gazillion pieces. I have one left!

The key fob remote could be worn out. The fobs can attract moisture if there's any cracks in the rubber push buttons or plastic casing has been broken exposing the inside. The electronic circuit board inside can get oxidized and prevent the small metal buttons from making contact when you press any function (panic, unlick, lock, start) on the remote.

Had The Same Thing Happen MULTIPLE occasions. The first occurrence being when we drive to Florida for a week stay at the beach. Just spent all day and come back later afternoon to pack up the dj and start the car. Insert the FOB and Dash lights came on but no crank. My wife was more shocked than me. I was calm. A COUPLE TURNS OF THE KEY And hitting the brake to move the shifter thru neutral and back to park solved it. Later learned the key fobs have the transponder chip in it that carries the skim code to bypass immobilizer. The fobs we got with the dj were used and abused. So I think WIN
Module in the DJ acts up occasionaly.
The key fobs should still turn over the vehicle even if the little coin battery is low or taken out.

discount tires website shows both 255-35-22 and 265-35-22 both fit the journey crossroads, I guess it depends on the wheels. Am hoping the 265's fit as its a little wider.

Hi everyone, The 2011 Honeycomb factory grille fit on a 2010, please see the images, the same is for the center grill down of this, fit perfect, the problem is with the fog grilles. I bought all in a dealer dodge, in houston. Sorry if you don't understand me.
Great look. now I confirmed in my mind that it works! I wanted to do that with my 2009 Journey R/T. I think the new honeycomb grills will directly fit it just like your 2010.

I have 19" wheels on my 2009 R/T. This morning I woke up to a flat tire on the drivers side. I replaced it with the spare tire so I could drive it to the repair shop. During the entire time the DJ was on, the low pressure and awd! indicators were on and stayed on. In the middle of the trip, the low pressure light blinked for a short time and then reverted to solid on.
I am assured that the spare doesn't have a pressure sensor in the stem and that is the reason for the low pressure indicator.
When the awd! light is on what does that mean? Did the spare tire cause the computer to activate the all-wheel-drive system?
Limited engine power on jumpstart

The other morning tried to start the DJ. It wouldn't start, so I jumpstarted it like so many other times before . After it warmed up, I proceeded to drive down the road. The ESP idiot light was on and would not turn off. My throttle was limited to 2000 rpm. Nothing faster. I managed to drive it down to the dodge dealer going a max of 10 mph, thinking something was wrong with the engine. when I got there my wife is waiting for me I said hold on let me try to shut the car off and restart it again to see if it goes back to normal. So I did. After I restarted it I drove around the block to test the engine power and it was at full power. I think the electronic throttle-control was tripped or the computer put it in a limited engine power condition. has anybody experienced this? After what I thought is major money problem was no problem at all but something I'd never experienced before. The battery voltage must of been extremely low and caused the computer to control the engine in a restricted fashion.
