2 years and 13,000 miles with mine with no issues, except two small recalls. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the press is so down and negative on this vehicle.

Initial problem with fueling up was corrected at dealership with a replacement fuel filler neck assembly, two FCA recalls completed (one pending) and a minor broken part by a service technician (dealership will replace) are the only issues thus far. I'm well aware that not all DJ owners are satisfied with theirs for various reasons and I hope they can get any and all problems and/ or issues resolved to their complete satisfaction, praise the Lord mine has been 'a good ride' !

... as you are aware, there are those who when not right in their 'knowledge' via verbal comments about cars will try to back peddle their way out of being classified as an idiot by those in the know!

... those all weather fitted matts are the ticket, just need to be color coordinated with the Journey logo on them.

Thanks for the responses, will try and negotiate price with dealer, if need be... I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for services rendered.

Got my Daytime Running Lights activated today... thanks to: Journeyman425 for all the assistance!

@ dhh3... whatever was in the small vent tube attached to the filler neck blocking it from venting the gas vapors / fumes from the tank during the gassing up process is still in there so I"m not concerned with it having dissolved and entered the gas tank itself (that was a concern that I had if all the sudden the problem went away on it's own vs having the filler neck with attached vent tube replaced to correct it)! I don't doubt that there have always been (and still are) workers who sabotage some of the items / products they work on and/or build, etc. to get even or just have a laugh wondering how much misery the person who gets his/her handy work will endure.
@ 11journeybama... love a Taco or most any Mexican food for that matter (even at Taco Bell) and yes I certainly do know what 'the runs' are (to put it politely)!

My "speeding" is limited to 5 mph over whatever the posted speed limit is, except in school zones, which I do exactly the limit. I lived young and restless (and reckless) in my younger days and spent the better part of 10 years trying to clean my driving record up so it did not cost me $6000 a year for liability only insurance on a $2500 beater car. If I want to go fast, I'll pay for a few laps at a Richard Petty driving school or something, Not the least bit worth it to me and I do hope ya'll are on lonely stretches of road out in the middle of nowhere when your testing the top speed limiter and not endangering other drivers.

I would be concerned with whatever was blocking it: unknown whatever. What if whatever it was could be broken down by gas, and thus enter the tank and fuel system? You need to know exactly what it was. Could have been a piece of Agave Plant because the guy installing the filler tubes on the line didn't want to get caught making tequila on the line.

I had mine activated for free because I told them I've been trying since delivery. I also went through the dealer's GM.
