  1. Well it happened again, out of warranty of course, this is the second unit I will be having replaced. $100.00 under my extended warranty. I wish I could get this to happen a little more frequently, as I get the updated maps for $100 instead of paying the $159 they want. Next time I'll just take the less traveled road and load my own if I can verify that is all it needs.

    Where does this go?

Thanks, I got it on. Looked at the other side and it only has the outside part the inside part is missing. It's on the wifes side so.....
  3. Found this on the floor mat today any ideas where this goes? Front passenger or driver, kids were playing with it. Thanks!
  4. Just happened, 2 hours at the dealership, they had to order a new (refurb) unit.
  5. Can someone POST GOOD pictures of where to LIFT the front and rear of the vehicle? I do not mean the jack points, as that is where my jack stands will go. I want to be able to go under the car for maintenance and do brake service on the front and then rear. I have an AWD model if that helps. Thanks! All the manual states is the normal jack points. Thanks in advance, and I did purchase a new jack, the old one failed, blew a seal.
  6. I found an old 3 Ton floor jack in my back shed, it's a craftsman, seems to lift the truck no problems. So I guess 3 Tons is the way to go. It's steel and heavy but it works.
  7. Thanks for your link! I'll check it out.
  8. I have a HEAVY Journey. 2014 Crossroad AWD V6 with Towing package. Is a 3 TON floor jack sufficient? Also what are you guys using? I was looking into High Lift Jacks, they are less than a floor jack, and I will be using Jack Stands after I raise it. I'm not doing a lot just brake lubrication and changing the brakes when needed. Maybe tire rotations but that is about it. Everything else is done. Thanks!
  9. Being that you are in Canada your going to need to put snow tires on it in the fall, start saving up for a new set of tires in the spring so they all match. Take it to a Dodge Dealer and have them do a complete look over, It may cost you say $100.00 or $200.00, call the to make sure what the cost is up front! Once that is done that should be your piece of mind. If they find anything major that is not under warrantee, take it back to the GM dealer. If they do not find anything wrong, then inquire about the extended warrantee, since they know nothing is wrong with the vehicle it may be your best bet.
  10. After a Tow to the dealer they found a loose wire on the starter. I could hear the clicking but it would not turn over. I only had 864 miles on the beast at that time. I have been trouble free since then. They really are nice vehicles.
  11. I have the Mopar hitch, had the dealer put it on and run the 7 pin plug to the back as well, I see no problem with the bumper at all. It was expensive but worth it.
  12. Mine is a AWD so maybe that is the case. I'm pretty happy with it just thought it would get better. No matter it's still a fantastic vehicle for the money paid, and nothing really competes with it.
  13. I have a 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad with the V6, I currently have 5574 miles on it and am averaging about 20-21 mpg. I drive mostly highway to work and back. I was just wondering how long does it take for the motor to break in so I will get a true reading on the GAS mileage? I have been tracking with the fuelly app since I got this in July. I do not get on it at all drive mostly between 55-70, maybe 25% city per week on avg. Does this seem normal, is this all I'm going to get out of this? I do realize what I purchased, it's a heavy vehicle I get that. Just wondering if anyone else is getting similar results. Even with this downfall I still could not have touched a better vehicle for the price. I did not want a 4 cyl and I did not buy one. I looked at the Ford Escape, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4. None even came close, this vehicle is a pleasure to drive. Mine has everything but the sunroof which I did not want. Overall I'm pleased and would purchase this again without hesitation.
  14. I also have the smooth leather heated seats in mine, they are really easy to keep clean, and the heat on the cold mornings and heated steering wheel kick ass.
  15. I used Truecar as well, no dvd that's the difference. I paid a little over $27000 after rebates on my vehicle with the DVD/NAV system. It's a great vehicle!
