btrcp2000 Posted September 5, 2013 Report Share Posted September 5, 2013 Several Days ago, I removed a bunch of files from my usb hard drive, thinking that it would rescan and update the library, but it still lists the same old files and just skips past the ones that aren't there after trying to play them. abeirnes Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 I have had this issue as well. Here's what you have to do. Get a 2nd USB flash drive. Put at least one song on it. Plug it in to the usb port. Let it read the stick. Once it's done, put your original stick back in the port. It will now do a complete re-scan on the original drive. This works for me every time.
