nehvada Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 i wonder if there is a mounting kit/bezel available for the journey to swap the stock cd-radio to an aftermarket double-din radio. what i found was this picture here in another thread: but it looks like there is a bezel missing to let it snug fit into the stock compartment. second: i am not very happy with the very low position of the radio and i was wondering if it would be possible to swap the radio and the a/c-unit. they look like they have the same size. i would guess that nowerdays both are only have wires and there are no longer any mechanically connections to the heating system (like rods or levers). a little wiring and soldering would do the trick. what do you think?
