I have done about 5000km with my Freemont FWD 140hp diesel and on longer trips I have down to about 6lit/100km and as most in town 9lit/100km. All this in wintertime in Sweden. A 140hp diesel may not sound like a rocket but in fact 350Nm gives well enough power for overtakes and I am positively surprised since this is my first diesel.
