Paladin62 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 I have been having endless issues with the drivers side plastic door jam protector plate. I keep hooking my foot on it and yanking it out of the connectors. I went to the dealer today to see if I could get a new one since the connector plugs are all bent now and found out they have a nationwide backorder. Obviously I am not the only one having problems with that poorly designed plate. When I get the new one, I am going to secure it with a couple of self tapping screws to prevent recurrence. BLM Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 Oh....that's good to know!! I've done that a number of times myself. Also, on the front passenger side, the plastic molded 'plug' that covers the front 3" or so of the seat track (on the door side) keeps getting popped off by feet as well.
