Difficult Journey Posted March 29, 2009 Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 I bought my Dodge Journey in September of 08. My Journey has a growling noise as well when it excellerates. It seem to go away after you get past 30 miles per hr. It is getting louder as time goes by. I have also had it into the dealer numerous times regarding the transmission. It shift gears hard with a clunking noise. The dealrship told me it was all in my head the first few times. Then I had the General manager go for a ride with me and he felt how it drove and said that is the way Dodge made it. I have also had other issues with my Journey that the Dealership doesn't seem to find when I take it in. As far as I am concerned my Dodge Jounrey is a POS!!!
