Hckynut56 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Share Posted June 3, 2011 Took a hard bump to the rear end of my 2009. They of course did not have insurance. Aside from some paint scratches to the bumper the hit was in the wrong place so the carrier / cover that the spare (donut) tire rest in got cracked and damaged to where it will not stay unless the tire holds it. Can't really put spare up without it as exhaust pipe runs real close and the cover had a heat shield to protect the tire. Question to all........ Is this likely a dealer only item ?? Or might I be lucky enough to find aftermarket versions ? I'm trying to find parts break down for that area of the car but not having much luck. I'm looking for a part number.
