Ta22oo Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Hello to all,just joined forum.Picked up my 2011 dodge journey rt on friday,traded in 08 calibre srt.Gotta say I`m lovin` the new journey.Only complaint is with the 8.4 u-connect(horrible name for it as most of them don`t).Dealer assured me it had bluetooth connection only to get it home and find that it doesn`t.Went back to dealership today and asked about kit to fix problem and still haven`t heard back from them 6 hours later.From reading the forum I see that a lot of other people have had the same problem. Armendegga Posted May 25, 2011 Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 Yep, the problem is all the dealers assumed the same - poor naming from Dodge on that... The only option is the Mopar bluetooth kit... Someone on here was saying that according to the dealer/factory, if it doesn't come with the uConnect/Bluetooth, it can't be added to be integrated into the 8.4n. Ta22oo Posted May 25, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 The journey is no where close to the calibre but I didn`t expect it to be.But the journey did surprise me it is a fairly peppy ride for the size of it.Does ride a lot nicer than the calibre and the interior is immaculate.
