  1. My apologies, I thought it is new version of map. That is a possibility. Yes, it did. My VIN number showed updates and this was one of them. Yes, this was updated first and it got updated successfully. Hmm, Ok.
  2. Recently new update for maps has been released (7.09) and I have been trying for two week to update current 6.22 to 7.09 without success. The flash process goes fine as per their upgrade instructions but the version still remains as 6.22. I tried different USB drives as well but it doesn't make any difference. I called local dealer from whom I bought car and they was AUD$400 to flash the maps. That is just ridiculous and I'm not going to pay or that. I called local FCA customer service and they advised to speak with delaer and after my explanation of what dealer wants to charge me, they took my details and issue I'm facing and advised to let the internal relevant people know. I don't expect any response from them as their reputation here in Aus is very bad. I've updated software before and didn't had any issue except this time and am lost as to what could be wrong or is it me doing something wrong. Please help!
  3. it would be easier for your to buy one new one (after market) and get it installed, that way you'll have warranty as well. It seems, these units were not made with better components to begin with, I see lot of people having similar issues for Chrysler made cars.
  4. Billy, did you end up getting this fixed? We just took delivery of our car and found that the CD/DVD drive won't take any disc at all and keeps displaying "Disk Error". Lucky I tested it while I was doing pre-delivery checks and got dealer to write it down on to delivery check list as an pending issue. What I don't understand is that how come brand new car has such issues?
  5. Hi Oz Blue Deuce, Was wondering if you got your issue resolved or not. We just took delivery of MY2014 Dodge Journey hours ago and found the CD/DVD player was not taking any disc at all and comes up as "Disc Error" all the time. Dealer has promised to fix it in a day or two, hopefully it gets resolved. What a hassle to receive a new car with player not working.
