I have a 2012 DJ with 4.3 uconnect system. Radio started acting up by losing presets. then a short time later, screen went blank. Disconnect neg battery cable and checked fuses. All checked good. Pulled Uconnect form dash to see if anything obvious was wrong. Again, all looked ok. Put everything back together and hooked up battery for a "cross finger" check. No luck, still blank screen. Started looking up parts for a new screen. Found for $650 - $750. Bummed out. Three hours later started car and Uconnect works fine!!!! Gremlins???? This happen to anyone else?

I removed mine to make more room for a vacation trip. Each seat has three nuts and one bolt you will have to remove. No electrical to disconnect. Seats will come out one at a time. Combined weight is about 100 lbs. Find a friend to help so that you don't scratch anything.

Not a problem. Just remove the three bolts and one nut under the seat. I removed both of mine to make more room for a road trip. Together they must weigh 150 lbs.

Occasionally after start-up, there will be no sound from radio. Can change stations and bands but acts like volume is turned off. Turn ignition off and restart engine and it will be fine. My DJ is a 2012 with 38000 miles. Recently bought used. Love the car and hoping someone might have an idea why radio does this.
