  1. hey, My RDA and PTU fluids are due for a change (on a '09 SXT) and I can't find any info on how to do it or how much fluid I need. The only thing I know for sure is I need to use 75W-90 Oil. Has anybody ever done this before? I've looked in the service manual and nothing comes up. Thanks, Sean
  2. hey everyone. I got the car back last week and I just did some testing last night. With the new cluster everything works fine. With no cluster or the old cluster the wipers/lights issue is back. So that's quite an expensive fix the get wipers and lights working!
  3. They called back and said they'll let me keep my old one so that I can make sure it's what fixed the problem.
  4. That's exactly my reasoning. If anything it would be something computer related.
  5. Hey, They're talking about the instrument cluster. I'd like to do it myself but if their diagnosis is wrong and changing the cluster doesn't fix it I'm out $600 (can't return a cluster...).
  6. Hi, I'm having that issue some of you here have had where the wipers and the lights won't turn off, and the turn signals and rear wiper don't work. I bought a new multifunction switch (and checked all its connections), which didn't fix it. I unplugged the battery for a while, checked all the fuses still nothing. So I brought it in to the dealer. They took a while to come up with a diagnosis, but when they did they said I need a new cluster for $600 plus another $120 in labour to change it, I asked right away about keeping the defective one (so that I can see for myself that it's causing the issue), and said that they couldn't find the core fee so that it was not possible. I called another dodge dealer and he right away gave me the right fees ($1108 for the cluster, $500 core). I'm now trying to get the dealer to do the work, charge the full price and give me my defective (as they claim) cluster back so that I can pop it in and see if that's what fixed the problem. I'll then bring it back to get the core refund. They're going to call me back tomorrow. Does any of this make sense? Do you really think the entire cluster needs to be changed, and why all the hassle to test out my defective one on my own? Thanks, Sean
  7. Hi, I'd like to change the front brakes (pad and rotor) on my 2009 SXT. I did the rear brakes a few months ago and didn't have any trouble. I'm just wondering if there's anything special I need to do on the front because of the ABS. I remember I needed a special tool to work on my Intrepid, do I need something similar for the Journey? Or is it the same process as changing the rear brakes? Thanks, Sean
