I have noticed on the Dodge web site and local dealers sites, that they are selling 2016 journeys that are not the new redesign. Did I miss something or have they pushed back the unveiling of the redesign?

Just from what I have dug up check to make sure your gas cap is seated properly, or that computer system may have a glitch in it and will need to be flashed.

I will have to agree with the short rear wiper sweep. and as far as oil, The dealer gave us 5 free changes, so will have to wait till I burn through those until I go synthetic. Standard back up cams would be nice, and maybe HD radio.

Yea its really sad that some dealer service departments wont go that extra step to either try to research the issue or put forth any effort. Makes you think harder about which dealer to buy from next time.

Had no Issue at all adding the code to my 2013 sxt. All I had to do was tell the code to the dealer shop and explain what I wanted done. 5 min. job if that.

I use the sandbag mount for my Garmin and sit it on the smooth spot right on top of the dash in the middle. Never had any problems with sliding or falling off.

If its any help they are called door curb lights. But have found no reference replacements for them.

I noticed an issue with the score update and game start updates on my 2013 SXT 8.4 w/o nav. It would beep and the score or game start reminder tab would pop up. I would touch to go to the game and it would tell me it was on Blue Collar Comedy or some other station and not show a score or anything related to a sporting event. Any one had this issue?

I"ll try to get some pics on here. I believe that Im going to take it back to the dealer body shop. Try to keep the replacement parts Mopar. And this one has a good rep for doing good work.

Well day 7 now and the her insurance company still hasn't gotten a statement from the fine driver that rear ended my wife. I love it when people take responsibility for what they do. Body shop said will be a 5 day job maybe.

The Same thing happened with the 2000+ Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ series. Poor brake design. Warped rotors, pulsing, They finally beefed up the calipers and everything was just peachy. (For the ones that bought newer ones.) The ones with the older smaller brake units were just out of luck and out of pocket for the upgrade. Dont count on ant offers of money for the upgrade. Its just a common theme that Chrysler-Jeep had going, go cheap or not at all. Hopefully all that is in the past.

Yes that was one thing that I noticed too on the 13s, when we were looking. They are huge compared to the earlier years. Smooth as silk.

Well the new is gone for us. Wife got rear ended on the Interstate tonight. No one hurt, and no airbags Front and rear damage, The rear is worse that the front. Now come the fun of finding a body shop that can get the paint right. Just cant have any thing new any more.

That can't be right. I have a 2013 Hero SXT with the 4 cyl. Unless these are for the 2014 models.

You could install any aftermarket accessory as long as it doesn't interface with the system. Dealer wouldn't need to be involved, as long as you know what you are doing.

Deals I have gotten, seem to be better the week between Christmas and new years. Last thing on peoples minds are new cars then and they are looking to get rid of stock by the end of the year.

Yes I have to agree with the radio chime. I set mine to some favorite teams and it chimed once. took me a few to finally figure out what it was. Nice feature though.

Don't know the build date. But the Journey was parked inside the showroom for many months. Only issue at delivery was warped rotors. Dealer replaced them and so far so good.

Build dates are on the VIN decal on the rear of the drivers door jamb.

Have to agree, A great poll, We bought off the lot in June, and our MFG date was April.

We havent had any problems with ours at all. Paint or mechanical.
