  1. It depends on where you live. I live in Arizona where it gets really hot. I got the 3 row because it was the only way to get the air conditioner in the back seats. This is a must when you have kids sitting back there. I get really tired of hearing it is so hot back here. I also hate having to direct my vents to the back. Then I sweat like a pig.

    That is my 2 cents..

  2. Went by the dealer today... No new updates on my order. It is still in line for it's build. What ever that means. It has been at this stage for 2 weeks now. The Plant excepted the order 2 weeks ago. Cool thing it seems that the $2.99 a gallon gimmick is working. My sales rep says they have sold 3 Journey's and 5 - 7 calibers and a few nitros. Gas here in the Phoenix area is $3.51 a gallon but I am sure it will go up some more since oil keeps going up. California is already at $4 a gallon. Not quite as high as Canada but we seem to be catching up.

I will be happy if my Journey ships on the 16th. That would mean I would get mine a week or so later.

  3. wow, I guess im lucky to be living in Canada, dealer said they have lots of stock right now canada wide and I only ordered mine last night, they found one at a dealer 3hrs from here and I should have it for the weekend.

    Crazy!

They have plenty of them here in the US. They just didn't have any with the Nav package. I got my R/T fully loaded.... Only thing I didn't get was the smokers package and the tow package. They didn't have one like I wanted in a 500 mile radius, thus I had to order it. It will be great when I get it becuase it will be exactly what I wanted. It is just the waiting that sucks. I wish they had a web cam at the factory so I could watch it being built.

  4. Ray,

Did you have to order your R/T? Do you have the Navigational system? I orderd mine on April 25th and I am trying to gauge how long it is going to take to get it. I live in Arizona and hope it won't take to long.

Glad to hear you are having fun....

  5. You know I would be doing the same thing if our Journey was in, but it just makes it that much harder when everyone is getting theirs and some of us are still waiting, oh well :(

Do you know if anyone has their Journey with the Nav system yet? Could this still be the problem with your order? Are they having issues with the Nav system? I ordered it with the Nav system too and want to know if I am going to have delayed shipping as well. Sorry for the problems.

  6. Great Seth, let us know the progress of your order as you get the news from the dealer

Just got an update from dealer. They say that the order was accepted from the factory and it will be on the assembly line within the week. Fleet Manager stated it can take up to 4 weeks to be completely built. Since we live near Mexico, we could be looking at about 5 weeks before we can pick it up. If that is the real time frame, I will be on vacation when the car is delivered. If this happens, all I have to say is that no one better test drive my car. Is there a way to find out what the milage is on a car once it is placed on a truck for delivery?

  7. I found this today on the TireRack web page:

It says it is a new item:

    Kumho Solus KH16

    Serv. Desc: 99T Load Index 99 = 1709lbs (775kg) per tire

    Traction: A

I hope this helps out for those who were worried or need them right away.

  8. Great, another member with the navigation ordered, I think that makes 3 of us so far Kconnors, Yourself and me. Did you download any of the manuals yet? There is one for the Journey and one for the Navigation/radio system The radio model is REU, exclusive to the Journey

    Rob

I downloaded both the radio and the car manual. I have read through both of them. I am hoping that I get my car quicker than 8 weeks since I live close to Mexico. I will keep everyone updated on the progress.

  9. I ordered the R/T with FWD. Almost got AWD but I live in Phoenix, Az. and never go offroad. I got this just to commute to work. I got the 3 row -- manily for the back air cond. since I live in the hottest place during the summer.

    Here's what I got:

    Conv. grp 2

    Entertainment grp. 2

    Flex seating grp.

    rear seat video

All of these groups together make it so I get the upgraded stereo, navigational, all the works etc...

I already can't wait to get this thing.

My wife is looking forward to it as well.

    I am replacing a 92' Ford Explorer.
