  1. All i know is now my hids work with no problems and my friends do too. He has drl's just like me. Just give it a try and see if it works
  2. So after trying as many things as i could the hids wouldnt stay on. So i talked to my friend who drives a 2013 dodge ram and has a lot of knowledge with hids. I asked him if had any problems with hids on his truck. He said no and theres a reason why. He said that he always charges up his ballasts before connecting the bulbs. So i did this and bam my hids work with no problems. I have the regular slim digital kit by xantec. So here is what you need to do. Install your bulbs and plug up your ballasts to the factory plug. Then only plug up 1 of the 2 hid bulb wires to the ballasts. Now drive around for atleast 30 minutes with the lights turned on manually. The bulbs will not be on but you will be charging the ballasts. Once you get back home hook up the other wire for the bulbs and put the light switch in auto. I hope this works for everyone like it did for me.
  3. Yea well my can bus ballasts are supposed to have the relays built in.
  4. i recently installed hids in my 09 journey. i have a set of can bus ballasts and they still shut off while im driving. sometimes just one side will go out and sometimes both. what else do i need to fix this?
