  1. I will take a picture but will give you a heart attack.. Two kids (and usually eating cause I'm always running late).. Imagine the crumbs, used kleenex, and possibly whole crackers, apple cores or something like that rotting :)

LOL!! I bet that send shivers up and down your spine.. ;)

  2. First, the director of the dealer where I bought my vehicle told me that I could tow 3500lbs BEFORE I bought it. Looks like false advertising to me. You guys are talking about warranty and safety ? I'm talking about bullshitting customers just to make a sale... Don't look furthermore to know why American car makers in general are having so much trouble retaining their buyers and make them stick to their brands if they keep bullshitting them.... The director told me I could tow 3500lbs... then guess what... I'll do it.... Pseudo experts here can stick to their opinion, I stick to mine... Thanks !

Unfortunately other pseudo experts share the road with you..

And like or not we are not lying to you as the director you mentioned. If you have an accident the liabilities will be 100% on you. Your insurance will step aside...

Really, we mention this to you cause we are your journey buddies.. nothing else, we're no going to sell you a car.

    Anyway, drive carefully.

  3. AWD on my Journey is fantastic, I replaced a Subaru and this DJ w/all-weather tires is as good or better than the subie.. I truly don't miss it.

I'm impressed and I like that is not hyper-sensitive like in the AWD system in the Honda CRV. I can have fun before the AWD saves my bacon..

I'm happy with the AWD system in the DJ

  4. I've heard from other guys at work basically all mini-vans have brake issues.. Honda, Toyota, etc.. Seems like the rotors are just disposable nowadays.

From tirerack you can get drilled rotors from stoptech for ~$90. That is not a lot more than the cheapo ones from Dodge..

I'm looking at replacing all 4 this coming season...

  5. Ok maybe not M-B but I disagree that is a Chrysler design, I mean those guys build cars, they don't design those kinds of components... I'm pretty sure the components are ZF or Getrag (Next time I have the DJ on the lift I'll check) and by contract Manufacturers share design, this way they all save millions, they do that all the time with engines and electronics.

An example is the transmisson of the DJ (V6 3.6) is http://www.allpar.com/mopar/transmissions/62TE.html

    Anyway just my opinion..

  6. And my brakes are squeeling like a dying dog right now. Will wait till spring/summer to get rid of this car cause the brake problems are just a deal breaker for me. I dont have money to burn on brakes every 9000 km and the gas consumption is crappy as well. The display says that the car is doing 17.9 L /100 km this is quiet crazy. As soon as spring gets here I am so done with this car and no more domestic for me.

That's not right, reset the Avg mileage cause it takes a while to average down to 13-14l/100km (for me). If you think a Jap or Euro car will save your wallet from getting lighter.. I have news.. you may save some on a 4 banger but the asking price will set you back thousands more.. Do the math..

Squealing brakes can be solved by just applying a coat of anti-squeal grease.. I come from a Euro nice vehicle, they're as thirsty as any other V6

  7. I noticed that too but in my opinion is spot on, I hate when the ESP kicks in immediately.. like my old CRV was a joke, totally oriented for women if you ask me..

I like that feeling of driving the car and when I push too much then the ESP saves me.... so for me is perfect and nothing to fix ;)
