  1. I would think you would want to know the set price of the vehicle you ordered and have the dealership's guarantee in writing of that price for the car you ordered. Otherwise, they are ordering a car with the options you want and will negotiate the final price when it comes in. I think this puts you at a disadvantage - they know they have the car you want and have waited for...
  2. Love when people respond without answering... I think the most helpful part of that response was the advice to contact your dealer's sales manager.
  3. I'd also call around the different companies and get the cost and warranty info direct from them and compare that to the dealer charge and warranty.
  4. Thanks for posting the video - had not seen it before. Guess that is what makes the Journey an IIHS Top Safety Pick! Hope I never have to take advantage of all those safety features...
  5. I have had good luck using Resolve carpet cleaner on my Journey's cloth car seats. You sprinkle it on, rub it in, and then vacuum it up. It made the seats look like they are new!
  6. I got your back brother. Yes i think it is a good price. only way to have gotten better was the military discount like the other guy. Enjoy it, you made the right choice with the Journey
  7. I waited five weeks for a confirmation, then my Journey got stuck on a rail spur for another three weeks after it was done. I was pretty peaved, but i still love it. The wait was long, but i'll own it longer than i waited for it, so i guess it all works out.
  8. God i love that. Ever see something and realize the guys doing it have no stress in their lives. Yeah, thats the job! Wife naggin, boss hollerin, no worries, i'm gonna go slam a dodge into a concrete embankment. problem solved!
  9. I feel your pain more than you know. I had a full sized truck. Brand new. NOT EVEN A NEW MODEL like what you're dealin with. My dad used to say it was made on a monday after a two week layoff. This thing had one major problem after another it was costing me more to fix it than it was to put gas in it. And since at the time gas was 4.50 a gallon with a 28 gallon tank. that should give you a heads up. Are you having one problem after another, or the same reoccuring problem? Maybe you'll get lucky and lemon law it. good luck man. stay strong
  10. I was having trouble with this last winter. That stupid alarm kept goin off all the time. kept refilling the tires, couldn't find the leak. Ended up my Journey had a cracked tire pressure sensor. Its about a 100 dollar repair, but its well worth not hearing that sound, or seeing the light all the time.
