I was actually looking at a journey with only FWD but after reading the lack of available tires I decided to go with the AWD. Plenty info on this site if you dig a little.

Hi everyone just thought I would drop in and say Hi. My wife and I just finished purchasing our new Journey. We went with an RT, AWD with all of the toys. We are excited to pick it up tomorrow. We were definitely impressed with the journey as we test drove most of the crossover's on the market--american anyways. We had it narrowed down to the journey and the edge but went when it came down to it you just can't beat the journey bang for the buck value. We just about picked up a used journey with 4000miles on it. It was an RT fairly loaded, but we decided not to due to it being FWD. Since we live in Wyoming in the Mountains we definitely needed AWD! Overall it was a hard sell to the wife as she is giving up her supercharged grand prix, but we need the space as we have an 8yr old and one more on the way! Musically, Tyler
