  1. I posted this last week: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/9060-2011-journey-grinding-or-rubbing-sound-when-i-accelerate/ Anyway, as a followup, the dealer told me that it was the engine and transmission mounts that were bad, and they were replacing all 4 for about $1000. Just wanted to know if this should be considered a part of the power train warranty, since it's under 60K.
  2. It's at 59,500 miles. I'll try and pull the wheels off this weekend.
  3. My experience has been that cv joints only make a noise when turning, this noise occurs even when I'm going straight.
  4. 2011 Journey Mainstreet, 3.6 Pentastar w/6 -speed transmission. When I press the accelerator even a modest amount (moving or from standing still, it doesn't matter), I hear a grinding or rubbing sound. Not sure what it could be, and it's hard for me to tell where it's coming from. Also have notices a marked reduction in gas mileage. Otherwise no complaints for this car.
  5. Jealous; my father had a '70, and we both regret the day he sold it.
  6. yikes, the dart badge deserves better than this. more like a neon.
  7. Just signed up and posted my comparison between '11 Journey and '11 Sorento. They could use more '11 and '12 Journey reviews and data. BTW, great site.
  8. New owner of a 2011 Journey Mainstreet, 3/31/11 build, purchased on July 4th weekend. Took it on a weekend getaway with the wife and baby (about 500 miles roundtrip) and it performed flawlessly. I've been showing it off to friends; most of them hadn't heard of it before, but they are impressed, as am I.
