  1. This is very sad, but honestly, this is not only a Dodge or Chrysler 100% problem... I felt that the big problem in this case is your dealer, right??? good luck!! I´m sure that you gonna love your car. I´m a mopar user since I born. very good cars!!!
  2. Hello Journey fans!! I´m very happy with my Journey. This is my 2nd Journey, my first Journey was a 2009 SXT with 2.4 engine. Dark gray. I really like it! so now, I have 4 months with my brand new 2012 Bright Silver Journey. in this 4 months, I drove 4,600 miles. I really like all the CUV, the look or design (interior and exterior) and equipment. The only "negative" issue is a little ratle in the center arm rest, as other users said. You need to place the arm in the center console to avoid the little ratle. Also, a ratle in both front arm rest (doors). I will check this little click click sound with the dealer in the first service :D Mods??? only the door moldings and OEM fog lights. I need your opinion: I´m thinking to drill a hole in the back (rear bumper), to install the left tail pipe as the R/t model or dual exhaust :D and apply in that space between both pipes a vinyl (dark gray or black), because I can´t change to the R/T rear bumper and I like it. regards!!
  3. yes, but this info or engine specs are related to the 1st gen (Stratus R/T and Cirrus). the 2nd Gen 2001 - 2006 the engine produced in 2001 220 hp. since 2003 to 2006 230 hp. both gens were matched with the 4 speed autostick. 0 problems, a lot of power. also..used by the Federal troopers in Mexico, very fast cars. obviously, Dodge decided to use the engine in the Neon SRT4. In Mexico, all the mopar fans are crying for the glorious days of the Chrysler turbo engine cars, because in the 80´s, 90´s and part of the 2000´s the people love the power of the turbo chrysler cars. And was a mexican design since 1995 in the first stratus r/t and chrysler cirrus. Why? because the people in the 80´s who bought a "chrysler Magnun" (K car), Chrysler LeBaron and Chrysler NewYorker, loved the turbo power, in the 90´s (all were badged Chryslers) the Spirit R/T, Phantom R/T (a.k.a Chrysler LeBaron coupe USA), Chrysler LeBaron, Chrysler NewYorker, Chrysler Shadow GTS and ES (162 hps, 2.5 intercooled turbo) and the "Special Edition" Spirit and Phantom R/T 16V (2.2 225 hps) all they wanted turbo cars. talking again, if u have the money and time and knowledge, you can modify the 2.4 GEMA engine with turbo (mopar) or other brand. I read at jeep patriot forum few guys who are installing turbo chargers in their pats!!!
  4. Hello family!! I really need your help with a question about the TPMS and the hand gauge that I always use. All my mopars are not equiped with tpms, only the basic alarm. But now, as you know, my 2012 Journey show each PSI in each tire with the TPMS. my hand gauge is vey acurate... is a "monkey grip" brand. But now, with my new Journey, I checked with the hand gauge and I read 31 PSI. The EVIC in my dashboard shows 42... is the EVIC an acurate device?!!? I´m very worried about the correct tire presure in my Journey. BTW, in all cars I always fill the tires with Nitrogen... I really like to use it, but in my Journey...Can I fill with nitrogen? I can´t remember where, but I read something that the sensor located in the rim, can get the correct info... but I don´t believe, I want your opinion, if the nitrogen can affect the TPMS sensor in each rim. regards and thanx!!!
