  1. Thank you both for your suggestions, as well as for the picture and details about the spring. I really appreciate the help. Based on your advice, I’m going to replace the brake hose. Since I’ll already be doing the left side, I’ll go ahead and replace the right side as well. The left side doesn’t have the parking brake issue, but it does require a bit more effort to spin the wheel after releasing the brake compared to the right side, which spins freely once I fully release the parking brake lever. I’ll also check at Princess Auto for a spring. Thanks again for the guidance!
  2. Thank you for your response. I purchased both Raybestos calipers, and the right side was having that issue. After replacing the rear right cable, the problem remained the same. So I assumed it was a faulty caliper and returned it. Since a new one wasn’t available, I received a rebuilt unit instead. However, the rebuilt caliper is now having the exact same problem as well. Can you suggest where I can get a stronger spring? Thank you!
  3. Hi all, I’m having the same issue and wanted to see if anyone ever found the fix. My right rear parking brake lever doesn’t fully return to the stop unless I push it by hand. I’ve already replaced the caliper, rear pads, and rotors, but the problem remains. The Rear Right parking brake cable doesn’t seem seized, so I haven’t replaced it yet. The wheel spins with resistance until the lever is fully returned. Did this end up being the cables (front,RL,RR) anyway, or the new caliper? Thanks in advance.
