Hi All, we have just discovered the flex plate is what has been making a heck of a noise on my Dodge Journey 3.6 R/T 2014 model. My question now is, do we need to change the Torque converter as well when doing the flex plate? I am in South Africa and parts are extremely expensive let alone e labour to remove the transmission. With such major repairs, I do not want to skimp on costs, but also need to understand if we are looking at more than just replacing the flex plate.your advise will be appreciated.
