  1. I haven't checked on the Journey, but on other cars I've had the DRL would go off when the parking brake is applied. If its the same on the Journey, then there's probably some wires on a switch at the parking brake pedal that you could connect to shut the lights off. However, I think the previous poster is correct, DRL's are required in Canada.
  2. Don't know about the third row seats because I don't have them. However, our R/T came with the mygig infotainment unit and no bluetooth. The dealer installed it. My wife also bought a new Caliber and had the bluetooth installed by the dealer. It was about $475 (Canadian) to get the module installed. I believe the cost varies depending on the radio unit you have in your car. If it has buttons for UConnect, then it is one module and if you do n ot have the buttons, there is another. Both of ours had the buttons so I am unsure if the cost is more (or less) if you don't have the buttons already in there. Be sure to haggle with the dealer because we were initially quoted much higher prices. The modules are available on ebay as well for much lower prices than offered by the dealer, but then you have to instal or arrange installation. If you have auto lights, you turn it on using the headlight switch on the turn signal stalk all the way to "Auto". If it doesn't say "Auto" on the switch, you don't have it and I don't know iof it can be installed after the fact. Hope that helps.
  3. Does anyone know if that is the same for all Dodge vehicles? My wife has a new 2010 Caliber which replaced a 2007 Caliber. In the 2007, there was a ton of room in the tank after the pump auto-shut off, but in the 2010, there is hardly any room at all. It seems to be the same in the 2010 Journey R/T, that is, there isn't much room after the auto-shut off.
  4. I think he's talking about the idiot light on the dashboard that signals a problem with the brake system. If so, it may mean that the Montana brake job wasn't done properly and a problem still persists.
  5. Worked first time for me with two separate doors. My openers are Chamberlain as well (not sure of model). Did you clear the memory each time before you tried to program? Probably want to ensure your remotes have fresh batteries as well.
  6. The contact info has to be recorded on the UConnect system. I just went through the process of manually recording the contacts in my cell phone to the UConnect system. From Main Menu say "Phonebook", then "New Entry" and then follow the prompts. After I got finished, I saw that my phone offered an entry to do the same thing via the Bluetooth connection, so check the options on your phone to see if the same thing is offered and it will hopefully allow you a more efficient way to get the contact info into the system. Hope that helps.

    Newbie Question

Thanks. Whoda thunk it? I was hoping for something a little more exotic. I guess I'll buy some papaya and hang the bags there.
  8. Just picked up my 2010 Journey RT/AWD yesterday and having some fun exploring it today. Can anyone tell me what the hooks on the back of the driver's seat are for? I went through the owner's DVD and saw a picture of them but no explanation. Thanks.
