  1. My alarm doesn't work and the 2 left doors will not turn on interior lighting. My horn randomly goes off honking spastically, sitting still or while driving. I've tried turning the steering wheel to see if that made a difference, no change, I have to pull the fuses. As there is no horn relay, I assume that the alarm module may be bad. Where is the alarm module located?
  2. In cold weather, first start of the day, not always immediately, my ETC light starts blinking and runs like crap. I have to disconnect the battery and reconnect, ETC light goes out and runs fine the rest of the day. Does anyone have a clue, I don't. Throttle reset doesn't work.
  3. I replaced the ABS module but, didn't seem to fix the issue. However, driving around Sunday evening I looked down, the speedometer, odometer we're working and the engine light went out. It fixed itself somehow.
  4. Not that kind of noise, it whinnies like a horse type sound. It speeds up or slows down with rpm's and changes in pitch but, it's not real loud.
  5. Transmission works fine but, makes noise like a cherping sound that increases and decreases with speed. I have a 2010 Journey SE 4 spd automatic. Any suggestions?
  6. Not the cadilitic converter, issue wouldn't change from running fine to getting in and not running fine. Crank sensor took a crap.
  7. Only 126k miles but then the speedo doesn't work either. Being a retired technician I wasn't too concerned about a few issues, I know it's likely but, it's a clean car and ice cold air.
  8. What brand of spark plugs and ignition coils are recommended for my 2010 DJ 2.4L?
  9. I would have the catalidic converter checked for blockage.
  10. I found 3 or 4 codes all pointing to the ABS module not communicating with the ECM. Nothing about throttle body or TPS.
  11. What plugs are recommended for my 2010 Dodge Journey 2.4L and ignition coils?
  12. Neither driverside doors turn on the dome lights, so may be in the wiring. I don't think that both switches would go bad at the same time. I hope it's wiring, it's easier to fix than the cost of 2 door latches.
  13. It's not unlocking or locking the doors or remote start but, I think I've found why, the driver side doors do not light the dome lights, so that's an electrical issue.
  14. It idles at 1500 rpm. I put it neutral when stopping as to not burn up the transmission.
  15. Haven't gotten that far yet but probably so. I have a scanner but, it stops at 2003. I'll have to run it past the parts house and scan it. I'm retired from the field. I have to replace the left side door latches so the alarm will work along with the dome lights.
  16. How can I turn down idle speed with no vacuum leaks? I don't want to burn up transmission or the breaks.
  17. The dome lights in my 2010 Journey work when you open the passenger side doors or the back hatch but, not the driver side doors. Has anyone had this issue?
  18. My 2010 Journey SE gages all pass key on test but, my speedometer doesn't work and the odometer doesn't advance. Any suggestions?
  19. I just bought a 2010 Journey SE and the fob starts the car but, that's it, it does nothing else. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've tried 2 other batteries I know are good, no change.
