  1. Hi. 2010 journey has several blendcdoor actuators I am looking to buy one for the passenger side but not sure which one I need to order. How do you tell the differences without removing them? thanks
  2. Hi. I have a 2010 7 passenger sxt v6. When the heat was on it blows warm on the driver and cooler on the passenger side. When the AC I is on it is blowing cold on the passenger side and warm on the drivers side. When I look at the blend actuators they appear to move fine when I change the flow and temperature. I have felt the heater hoses when the heat is on and both are warm. I have controls where I can set a specific temperature for driver, passenger and back seat. Would this be faulty blend door actuators or the controller switches or ? any information would be appreciated. thanks
  3. Yes. I am not looking to put regular hubcaps on. Looking for something like the trucks centre caps that are held on by the lug or someway to mount small centre caps 5-7 (?) inch. Do the journey lug dimensions match any other trucks or vehicles?
  4. Hi. I have 17” Steelies for my winter tires that I would like to dress up. looking for centre caps or small moon hubcaps. Is there anything out there that will fit? thanks
  5. Hi. Interesting. I will give it a try. thanks
  6. Hi My 2010 Journey is blowing warm air on the driver side and cold on passenger side I checked the blend door actuator and I can see it move when tempature is changed. I felt the heater hoses and both are warm so the heater core is not plugged. I am thinking that either the blend door actuator is not actually moving anything when activated or possibly the temperature controller switch is not working. How does the heat get regulated when you change from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius? Is it computer controlled somewhere or is it the actuator movement? The actuator when turned on seems to move to full open no matter what it is set to. Note: the actuator I am looking at is on the left side of the glove box in the back. Seem like it would be difficult to take out. Any my information on the temperature control would be appreciated Thanks
  7. Hi. It is a 3.5 with 141000 kilometres. There are no codes showing when scanned. I can go several days or longer without it happening then it appears so it is really random. This has been going on for a long time.
  8. Hi My 2010 Journey occasionally has problems starting I did have the recall for the keyfob ignition issue fixed under warranty but I continue to have the issue. When the problem occurs I get the following scenarios: a) turn key on and it tries to start but continually makes the noise like it should when it starts but goes on for several seconds before I turn it off Then once I try it again it makes the same sound for a second and starts normally B) try starting the car and it just clicks and does nothing. Sometimes when I retry to restart it it will start after one or 2 more attempts. When it doesn’t start I have to turn key to “ON” position and put the car in neutral and it will start right away. I have heard of a lot of different possible causes. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix? Thanks
  9. Hi, I pulled it apart today. There were 6 tabs holding it in place. The top 2 were like hooks so in hind-site I should have pulled out the bottom 2 then the middle 2 then pulled down as the top 2 as hooked over the tabs of the cover. To put it back on I inserting the 2 top tabs in the hooks. Then clip the middle and bottom clips. One of the middle metal tabs partially broke on me so be careful. Fyi. Not sure if all journeys havre this panel backing but my 2010 did. I was removing the panel to access the active headrest wire. The pin mechanism broke inside the headrest and it released. No air bag alerts as it did not deploy. Picked one up at a wrecker and I stalled it. All good now. Sorry forgot to take pictures Thanks
  10. Hi, I am trying to remove the plastic back panel on my drivers seat. I can see there are 2 clips at the top. I tried pulling them out but did not want to use to much force as breaking this I believed would be expensive. It cannot see how the clips come out. Has anyone removed this panel? How are the clips disengaged? Pictures of the clips would be helpful. I cannot find anything online on how it is removed. Thanks in advance.
