So manual regulation isn't required at all ? I.e. every 100k kilometers? I have 2010 Dodge Journey 2.4. It is important only during engine rebuild ?

My 2.4 Dodge Journey (2010)sounds like the valves are rattling. Are they self adjusting by hydraulic lash adjusters ? Or mechanic should do it manually using valve lifters /tappets ? This engine is similar to Mitsubishi which requires manual regulation after 100 K. In Journey service manual there is no information about this until 200K or 10 years.... Share this conversation
