  1. Incandescent lights, not LED. Any idea where that transmission sensor might be with power that I could tap into? On second thought that seems a little too complicated. Maybe I'll see if I get good voltage by tapping into the positive on the reverse light and directly to a good ground elsewhere.
  2. Lights are incandescent not LED. Voltage at the light socket is 10.6.
  3. I'm trying to install a backup camera on my 2016 Dodge Journey by tapping into the reverse light. The voltage at the lights with the engine on or off is only about 10.6 which is not enough to power the system. Why would the voltage be so low and is it possible to step it up? Or is there another location I can tap into so the camera only comes on when the vehicle is in reverse?
