I installed a pioneer radio along with a new screen. I am unable to control the AC from the screen because it does not work.

My 2012 Dodge Journey SXT climate control/radio screen does not work. I recently did a hard reset, installed a new screen, and an off-market radio and still nothing. Firmware/Software is up to date and no longer under warranty. Any ideas?
