  1. I have not gotten it figured out. I have had this car in the shop more time than I've actually driven it. I have tried trading this in but the dealer will only give me $6K less than what I owe. I'm stuck with this lemon. Also since I've had it, the rear clutch has gone out twice and they have had to replace the cylinder heads. That doesn't include when I had it in the shop for 2 weeks the first 6 months I had it. it about caught fire while I was driving it on the highway, I had to have it towed. I can tell you one thing, I will never buy a Dodge ever again. Good Luck to you
  2. I purchased a 2014 Dodge Journey almost a year and a half ago. This particular issue has been going on for the past year, and I have taken it to 2 separate Dodge Dealerships within the past year and they cant seem to find anything wrong with it. When I start the car and put it in drive and start to accelerate, the car isn't shifting. I normally don't notice until the car reaches around 40mph. Once I reach 40mph I notice my RPM's are around 4-5 so I have to pull over, and shut the car off and turn it back on again. I cant pin point an exact time it happens, like if the engine is cold or if I put it in drive to fast after I start it up. This happens a couple times a week sometimes more and sometimes I can go a week and it wont do it. Its really frustrating when I have to pull over on the highway. I even have a couple of video's of when it happened. I've also had people in the car when this has happened so I know I'm not crazy. Has this happened to anyone?
