  2. Do you have any pictures to share?

    Floor mats

I have ordered the Weathertech mats for my last 2 vehicles and like the way that they fit. They are custom moulded to the vehicle and feature a lip that will hold in the slush/melted snow to keep the interior clean. They also have a rear cargo cover that is custom fit also. Get the complete set. It is definately worth it.

    Dash Kits

Has anyone tried installing a dash kit in their Journey? I am contemplating the sherwood kit in real Carbon Fiber. Not sure how the kit will work for the navigation system as the specs all show the non-nav units with the cubby hole on top.
  5. I have bought the Weathertech mats for my Journey and find them great. Have had them in other vehicles that I own and never had an issue.
  6. I have bought the 16" RIms and Michelin snows from a local tire shop. I do have any issues with them (been on a vouple of days now). They are the same set-up at on the Tire rack (read a few good reviews about the Michelins). I did not buy the TPMS as they are out of stock currently everywhere. The only issue is thetire light cflashes for a few seconds and then stays on while driving. Not a big issue for now and will decide later if I want to purchase them for next year. I have an RT.
  7. Looked on Tire Rack and there is an optional size for the 19" rims which has a few tire choices. I hate the Kumho tires, but will replace them with something better only when they have worn down a bit more. The optoinal tire size is 245/50/19. Also for snow tires, there are quite a few options. Steel wheels are avialable in 16" size (from the base model) and there are a few tire choices available. There are also 17 and 18 inch sizes available but aluminum wheels will be needed for thiese.
  8. I used to do all my service myself until I started to buy new vehicles instead of used vehicles. I have found that using the approved dealership can cost a bit more, but it pays off in the long run. They are much more willing to stand behind the product than if you get the vehicle serviced elsewhere or do it yourself. I have even found thatif the dealer relationship is good, it does not matter if you have aftermarket accessories installed as the dealer will go to bat for you with the Company. For me, my last few cars have all been dealer serviced and I continue to do so. Makes getting warranty repairs so much easier. Just my 2 cents worth.
  9. Too bad they don't make a Mopar-Kicker audio upgrade for our cars. I had a Jeep SRT that I had the Mopar-Kicker upgrade installed in. It was fantastic. Definately worth the upgrade. Much better speakers, an upgraded amp and a choice of single or double sub. All packaged to blend in and look like factorey speakers too. Hopefully the people at Dodge will finally come through and offer some upgrades for the Journey. It is not a very expensive vehicle, but there is definately a following. Come on Dodge Folks!!
  10. I have an RT with navigation and was told by the dealer that there is no ability to hook up an ipod control with this option. Very disappointing. Spent the extra $$$ on the navigation system as I prefer having it in the car, but for some strange reason this negates the ipod connectivity. My window sticker does say that Ipod connectivity is included with the convenience package, but it was not there.
  11. How about some pictures of the final product. I am interested in doing this.
  12. I just purchased my RT loaded with the Convience Group II and Navigation and Sound Group. The sound group says that the Ipod control is not included, but the convienence group says it includes the Ipod control. Does anyone know whether it should come with Ipod control? Is there a cable available to hook it up from the dealer?
  13. I just picked up my Dodge Journey RT in Inferno Red with Black interior. Love the look of the interior. Black with the chrome accents looks really nice. Will be looking at customizing options. Any suggestions?
