our 09 (original owners) just died this weekend, service advisor said he has a chunk of metal on desk from motor.. wants the service records... I do my own oil changes, but do not save receipts. Had daughters car in for an oil change, and they stripped the oil plug and tried to blame me, so I do all my own oil changes with mobil 1, and under the 6000 recommended mileage. I do have the mileage log, and the oil I put in, but I always use 10W-30 mobil 1 extended in her car.. Hope that it will not be a huge fight.. we are loyal Dodge owners, but this might be the last one for her. we had lots of problems with the trans puking fluid all over the motor before. was just about ready to change oil again, when it happened.

we have a 2009 R/T and it also uses too much oil, I am constantly checking it.. I have had 2 rams with over 130000 on both, any they never used a drop (5.7) now my wifes Journey uses a lot.. something has to be wrong with it.. the 09 has the limited lifetime powertrain warranty, but this is ridiculous.. something needs to be done about this...

we love it!!! has a lot of toys, leather, rear entertainment, heated seats, big chrome wheels, a lot of nice added features! oh, to see a picture, look at the top of the forum page, it looks exactly like that one!!!

Ya, I like it, but it reminded me of the old caravan my wife used to own a while in the 90s!

We have had no problems with our R/T, and we have had some tough conditions here in Northern Colorado! Lots of snow and ice, and my wife said it handled better than her old Jeep Liberty

I am seeing more and more of them on the road... no advertising... that is why, and with the money troubles last year, they focused on the RAM.. Our ram was the family truckster, now with 155000 miles on her 03 Hemi, we got the Journey for the wife, and we take it everywhere!

we have it on in our Journey, and have had no problems on snow or ice... works great in getting around...

We had a Jeep Liberty in the shop for about 3 months... waiting on a steering column... so my wife had to have a vehicle to drive, so we bought an 09 Journey R/T. Bought it, drove it home, and that night (about a 45 min drive from my house) I noticed a puddle. so we called, and I had to pick up a few missing items (headphones for the rear entertainment, jack, etc. ) I got there, and they said they changed a seal... on the way home, got about 35 mins away, it was smoking badly.. Called the dealer, and they said to take it in to the local dealer (they did not have any 09 Journeys, or I would have bought one from them). Called them, got an appointment. They got it fixed, and told me they replaced the wrong seal, that the original one was leaking, and since then, no leaks... Good thing for the limited lifetime powertrain warrenty. so we have about 5000 miles now, and still no leaks.. (wheres some wood, I need to knock on it)

Currently have in our stable.... 09 Journey R/T (just like the one on the top of the forum) 03 Dodge Ram Hemi Off roader Laramie quad cab, 67 Charger - 383, mostly original, looking at placing a stroker motor in there soon! Just wanted to say Hi, and introduce myself.

We have a 09 Dodge Journey R/T. We have the cool uconnect/dvd screen stereo, that the screen will play movies and the tv, when in park.. my question, should it not have the 6 disc changer? it said we had it in the standard features, and we would like to put in there multiple movies for our son.... We have the Hard drvie in ours... We have called Dodge, and have not been able to solve the problem! Thanks for any help! (p.s., we have no load button on our radio.)
