  1. Hey Dude welcome to the club. Our is well was doing the same thing. Dealer tested some things and said sorry cant find anything wrong bring it back when its doing it again. It seemed every time we took it to the dealer it was the temperature it was stuck at (that's just our luck) then finally it warmed up and the temp was stuck the same again so I got my wife to take it in to dealer and they ordered a ambient temp sensor. They installed this and it worked for 2 weeks then started doing it again. I did lots of reading and it said to unhook battery cable (-) for a few hours and then reconnect. This did work to but it was not permanet and we took it into another dealer about 2 weeks go and they replaced the ambient temp sensor again and said other dealer installed incorrectly but not sure how that is possible its very simple if you get on your one knee and look through the grill on the bottom bumper it looks like the igniter from a bbq maybe the wire is of you will see or the disconnect the battery will work but might not work long term. Tell your dealer you need a new ambient temp sensor.
  2. Yes sure can just go into VES controls and set it up through the screen on the unit. This was the main idea for the headphones.

  5. Hey guys just wondering if someone has played with settings on GPS. Its hard to find info when you dont have a owners manual thats not a dvd. Anyways here was my experience for around christmas on a trip to Fort Sask by Edmonton from Medicine Hat. I entered it into my GPS before we left Medicine Hat. It showed me the route using Hiway 1 then Hiway 2 (main route I guess) Then decided to take hiway 36. After it told me to do a u turn I stopped routing then proceeded on hiway 36. After about 10 minutes down that hiway I mapped it out again and it still wanted me to turn around. Drove about a hour then told be to take hiway 13 after 36 which was right but was still trying to tell me to take it all the way to hiway 2 rather then turning on hiway 21 for less then a hour. Mean while my blackberry google maps was right on the money. Both devices were set to fastest routes. Not sure if there is another setting someone knows but would be greatly appreciated. Also got into specifics about the hiways as was thinking someone may be familar with them and how stupid I would of been if I took the way the GPS told me. Also on another note traveling at 120km/h except when passing i averaged 23 miles/gal my first hiway trip with my 2010 RT AWD. Thanks
  6. Hey this might have something to do with personal settings in the info centre located on instrument cluster? maybe has something to do with honks on doors locking or unlocking just a thought cant check as Im at work. 7. The dealer actually told me you could listen to dvd in the back and something different in the front but WITHOUT the head sets this address book thing is such a pain in the a$$ I know you can load them manually through voice rec but I have about 100 contacts and I think you can only do 32 that way.....
  8. Hey thanks for the reply. I did read about this as well and its enabled to all entries. Also tried deleting my call logs read it could jam something up, also refreshed services list and disabled encryption but all had no luck. Gives me a glimmer of hope to know your pearl works with address book, wife has pearl as well and i have same problem with that, thats why I'm wondering about software version on my gig, does yours have navigation? Thanks
  9. Hi there. Just joined today as we just got our 2010 Journey R/T with navigation delivered a few days ago. Seems ok so far. The dealer had initially told me on the test drive the kids could watch a dvd and listen while the front could listen to radio or something WITHOUT kids having to use headsets, I found out after delivery this was not true. Kids have to wear headsets for this. Disappointing as Im not sure the little man will keep his on. I have a issue though however with trying to transfer my address book from my blackberry curve over to the uconnect. I have read so much about this prob 8 hours worth and it looks like getting this to work is a crap shoot. I did read someone updated there mygig software and it worked so I'm wondering if someone knows the latest software available for the navigation mygig(REU) I know this sounds strange as the vehicle is a 2010 but stranger things have happened. By blackberry curve has the latest software on that (4.7) but still no go. It is paired and phone does function but every time I try the address book transfer I get a error message saying something like unable to connect push button............ I have done some research and went to http://mofv.com/mygig/ but there just says no update available for REU I'm wondering if I have older software. Thanks to someone if they answer and this looks like a very fun and cool place. Thanks Hockeyman2000
