Unfortunately, the answer was simple, and not at all what I wanted to hear. The dvd player is one of those that only plays through headphones, which - of cource - are also not with the vehicle. They are not replaceable, (at least not easily) because the player is an after-factory addition. Disappointed.

It isn't on the unit. There is a button with a speaker icon on it. I push that, and receive this "R/L" message on the screen. I have looked at the Owner's Manual, and found nothing to help me there, either.

I recently purchased a used Journey. The dvd player works, but has no sound. The message says "audio is tuned to radio, press the r/l button." Where do I find this button, please?
