Good stuff. I got a pretty good deal down here in Columbus on our Journey. I know the general manager a little
-
Good looking out! Sadly you took the hit.
-
I can take pics for you if you would like, but honestly ANY brake dust this early is too much.
-
I joined and posted a review. I am pretty sure the 2010's are better off other than the brakes
-
abarnes, you live in the Atlanta area?
-
I look through all the issues just YOU guys have posted with breaks, sunroof leaking and many other issues.
Not many of these are on the roads but so many issues with everyone here it sounds like.

The 09's had a lot of issues, was the first model as well. The 10's are better and only issue I have is the brakes. The brake dust leaves me to believe that the brakes are still crappy. Other than that, I think all issues were solved, reason I bought mine

I'm gogin to get projectors a little later and do a retro on it, but for now a plug and play
-
Mine is a little worse but not much. Thing is, with ALL of the cars I have owned I have NEVER had brake dust that noticable. Even in my Mach 1 when power braking it at the drag strip or on the streets. Very cheap soft material pads.
I'm going to wash the car this weekend and see if it is just a break in on the pads or what. I am OCD about a clean car and this ain't cool.

What is your budget for speakers and amp? Are you getting an aftermarket headunit as well?
-
The brake dust is horrible. So it is only time before new brakes needed guranteed.
-
Ah, I don't blame ya then. Don't get in trouble :P
-
I'm sure these crappy brakes aren't helping it.
-
Not sure honestly, I have no did it yet so not sure. I am probably going to do a retro fit myself with the projectors
-
Let me do some research for you. I can possibly get it
-
Where are you located? I can find out everything for you.

I am getting in touch witht he distributor here. The pieces line up and look very good quality. If any of you guys are interested in some things, let me know. I will sign up as a dealer for them through my business and help everyone out.
-
Let me know if you guys get a set and take pics! I will be ordering mine next week and I will take pics!

Looks ugly, but if ya need it ya need it

If you even breath on the brakes first, it will kill it. You may be hitting brakes and not thinking about it.
-
Could be the software in yours is not in sync. I would call and ask your dealer.
-
I can do some checking, I am also kinda iffy about it. One honk is fair I think.

So here's a bit of good news for a change. The clunk when backing out of the driveway is gone, must have been the tie rod end they replaced. The PCM flash seems to have the rough shifts fixed, although it appears that the update has re-mapped the accelerator logic. I now have to push the pedal down quite far to get some decent acceleration out of it, still goes like stink when you mat it, but compared to before the update there is almost no response in the first 1/4 of pedal travel. I can get used to it, it's better than the crappy shifting. One apparent good side effect fuel economy seems to have gone up! Anyone else with the PCM flash notice this? I'll have to monitor it for a few weeks to confim, but seems like it after the first week.
All 10's are like that now. My wife was asking me about the pedal issue of having to actually "put the pedal to the metal" to ride out. It is an economic thing guys, no worries. When you downshift and gain RPM's you loose gas. They added as many features to help in the hard gas times. Something to get use to, but I can live with it. Last night I finally ran it through the gears a few times hehe.

I highly suggest Husky mats ^_^

There ya go. Says plug and play, but to be safe sign up and ask your questions direct to be safe ya know. I am going to do 5K or 6K to keep it clear and best visability. 3K for fogs, don't want to go any higher with them because of the heat in a small place.

I have a 2010 and my fogs are white. I would have to check on part number though.
