I did this update from Nov and my radio is working worse than before. I use an iPhone 7 and I can not use voice control to make a call but I was able to use voice control to make a call if the person was listed in my favorites. Now my voice control does not recognize my favorites either. What a pile of junk the Uconnect system is in the journey. It makes me upset that they have had a newer system out and installed it in other vehicles such as the Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Durango. But kept installing the inferior system in the journey. when asked about getting it swapped when my unit completely failed and need replaced. I was told they cant because of the wiring harness. I was told they are about to launch a large update to our 8.4 system relatively soon. But I'll believe it when i see it.

I just installed the 77kick41 and 77kick42 and it sounds way cleaner than the stock system. I did not have the alpine upgrades.

I just had the Mopar/Kicker upgrade kit installed part numbers 77Kick41and 77Kick42. All 6 speakers were plug and play and took less than an hour from start to finish. The doors are 6x9 and dash are 3.5. On my 2015 Crossroad standard audio system.

Hello all! I had the R65 recall completed on May 19th my Dodge Journey Crossroad is now 15 months old and while I was on vacation this week I got the notice "can't unlock maps" so the recall software does not fix the problem. I'll be calling the dealership tomorrow. Ugh this sucks. Really want them to replace my RB5 with RA4 so I can have the update for iPhone with Siri. But I was told they can't do it because the connectors r different. My iPhone 6s has not worked with the uconnect vocie dial since I got the phone which sucks!
