New Journey

Hi, Name here is otis.

Bought a new Journey SXT with the 3.5 liter v-6 motor on April 15th of this year. Just recently took a trip to Arizona with it from Texas where we live.

Traveled about a total of 3,000 miles on the trip. Went from a above sea level elevation of 15ft here in Texas to about 8,700 ft above sea level in N.E. Arizona while traveling. Our Journey never missed a lick on the entire trip. Ran great and I averaged 25.2 mpg for the entire round trip that lasted about 3 weeks.

I have heard and read some statements that are not the best concerning the Journey and I guess this is the experience of those who made these statements.

Well, I have not had one item go bad on our Journey the entire time we have owned the vehicle. It's quiet, comfortable riding, stylish (received alot of lavish

praise) from folks on our vacation who had never seen a Journey before and wondered what kind of vehicle it was since it was so attractive they stated. This vehicle costs quite a bit less than alot of its competition that is either Japanese, Swedish, or German made and even American made competition. I do applaud Chrysler Corp engineers for putting together a very nice vehicle that's much more affordable than other crossovers, Suvs, or Hatchbacks whatever they are called.

I would not hesitate to recommend this vehicle to anyone that might be interested in test driving one for possible ownership. By the way the 6 cylinder engine was great going up the mountain grades that I drove over. Didn't hesitate or miss one time while in this type of terrain.

Have a nice day to one and all.
